You can have thrush but have NO discharge but have the other symptoms and a swab test by the doctor will still come up positive for Thrush

Ive heard from a doctor that yeast infections can in fact be treated with yogurt because the pH is similar to that of a healthy vagina

At least for alleviating the itchiness, idk about actually getting rid of the yeast though(?)

They always say let it breathe, wear cotton underwear. How does that make much difference if your labia is sealed shut unless you lie down and open your legs as wide as possible? Mine can’t “breathe” unless I do that lol

I’m 34 years old… never in my life had one so I freaked out when I started feeling itching and pain recently. I’m on my 4th round of antibiotics in 1 month so that’s why but what I didnt ever know was the skin around the vagina can get irritated and even sting. I’d never heard of that symptom and didnt have discharge. My point is I learned they’re not all created equal and can be different for everyone.

Also… I literally just walked in the door with plain sugar free yogurt. 🤦🏼‍♀️ thanks google.

If the itchiness is too much to handle, take antihistamine loratidine.. it will take the itch away.. and then go visit the doctor

Recently I started drinking more sugary drinks and also washing my whole body with antibacterial soap… this is 100% why this is my first time having a yeast infection 😭😭

could u also get yeast infections from rough sex?? i haven’t had a yeast infection in years but i started hooking up with this guy and all of a sudden i have one again. i think my diet also plays a factor bc im struggling with an eating disorder rn and i eat a lot of sugar but they never mention if sex can cause one?

When I moved to a different state I used to have this chronically for the first time ever. I started washing my down below with Distilled water in a perineal squeeze bottle. No more monistat. I go through 1.5 gallons per month (water bottles and “purified” water don’t work, I tried). I also switched from Monistat to Boric Acid suppositories from Amazon. Distilled water is a gamechanger, whenever I tried to go back to tap water I had a flare up. I buy a jug even when traveling now.

Men can have yeast infections and pass it on. I used to have a partner who’d cause a major flare every time we hooked up (with condoms). I tested and was clean for STDs/i’s so it was definitely yeast. The guy is blocked but I was able to fix my issue easy.

Distilled water washing
*** wash your area using Distilled water it clears me up in literally 12hrs. Severe cases are 2-3 days
*** buy a perineal squeeze bottle off Amazon. You pour the Distilled water in the bottle and you use it to wash. Most states have hardwater which is why they can be difficult to get rid of.
*** boric acid suppositories, basically more bang for your buck. Instead of 2 Monistat inserts, Boric acid is a bottle of 30 and does the same exact thing.

I got it after my period after the vaccine I’ve never had one in my life so my immune system must have been weakened

I’ve tried betadine vagina gel and it worked very well until
this month when I had my vaccine & forgot to take my daily dose of vit.C. Yes ladies a strong immune system is very crucial to fight this💪💪

Wow. At this big ol age of 41 I finally get that yeast infection🤦🏾‍♀️ Totally freaked out had no idea what was going on. These SUCK!! I’m currently being treated now, but had to look up some extra info. The vagina….. 😩😩😩😩 smh

I tried so many things and two doctors and didn’t resolve it. Every thing worked a little but the yeast returned. The painful itching feeling was soon bad. Thank God for boric acid suppositories. It works wonders. You pair boric acid with probiotics and yogurt insert — using tampons. The recommendation was one boric acid suppository (600mg) a day. But it was not enough for me. I did two a day for almost two weeks then one a day for 5 days. Then I have one every two days. Finally I feel so much better. Nothing else worked as well as boric acid suppositories plus yogurt.
