I just feel really bad for this lady. She has depression and is going through a tough time from that breakup. But she has to live for her son, for herself. Losing a man is not the end of the world. And probably breaking up with him was better for her. Who knows how her relationship was before. But like her son said there’s people out there willing to help and get her through this.
But her eating all those icecream bars just wow. It is alot. But its her coping mechanism.
But yeah I dont know how her teeth arent sensitive. ^^;

The irony of all of the snow and ice and that she spent this episode wearing a hat jacket and scarf is not lost on me! But as a mental health advocate my heart absolutely hurts for her and I hope that she finds the peace and recovery that she’s so desperately needs. Stay strong!

it’s crazy what emotional loss can do to someone. I was very critical and thought really mean things about her when I first started watching, but as I saw what she saw and how she had so much loss it made me think of my own and feel so much compassion.
I remember my grandpa (a few years before he passed ) he would have a food addiction to one certain food that would last a few months and then forget about it an find another one. He would eat other things but he would have to his ” choice of the day ” somewhere in there. One time it was peanut butter sandwiches, then triscuits, rice and then my macaroni and cheese and grilled cheese sandwiches I would make him. I have good memories cooking for him, his favorite food of those few months !

That’s why we need to make sure we’re praying for those who desire you to leave addiction behind but are still in the struggle. We all have our challenges in this life and we need each other. A little kindness can literally be a life saver for someone who was at the edge.

There are worse coping mechanisms…..drugs, alcohol. ….
But really useful to know that people can put weight on after that surgery.

The producers of the show could have told her to act out her regular day and not telling her that therapists were gonna surprise her. If you can’t see the surprise on her face and how she didn’t know they were coming then you’re slow.

Its plain luck. I drink up to six cans of soda per day and have been doing so for the past twenty years. According to scientists my teeth should have eroded away by now but when I went to the dentist recently he said I had good teeth.
