Three phase bone scan done at ft bliss while on active duty and i had to fight like hell for 10 years to get my current rating on my back.
I am 80% disabled as of right now and i did it myself
Ed h sorry I didn’t see your reply
It’s ok Brian.
Fantastic layman term explanations. Thank you
I was exposed to Asbestos while in the air force, this is documented in my service medical records, I was just diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. I had a back injury while in the service and have 40 %, My back pain has also caused me to gain weight and was diagnosed with sleep apnea. Can someone from your office help me with my appeal.
Hi CC&K, Thanks for this very helpful video. How do you provide your service if I’m from a different state (NV)?
@Popeye Al, thanks for reaching out. Our firm helps veterans nationwide, regardless of hat state you are from. If you have a claim that has been denied by VA, please feel free to reach out to us at (844) 567-1185 to determine if we are able to help you.
@Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick LTD Thank you very much.
Hi, I have hardware (Rods in my back) numbness in my feet. What is the rating ?
How often do you have to have flare ups to have it count towards rating?
This is a great video session, I am rated with back/legs service connected condition I’m, IAM in constant pain, I get shots every 2months in my hip and back for years. I have arthritis all over my back and neck which I have not applied for. Do you handle veterans cases???
Have had back pain for 30 years, denied for 27. Is it required by VA to request a c&p exam whenever I file a claim or do I insist upon one myself? Because in each claim, I was never scheduled for a c&p exam before being denied.
Interesting that they rate amount of movement. Do they take into account the fact that I have to pay a yoga instructor to help me maintain flexibility? Granted, I’m not incredibly flexible, but also I’m not as inflexible as some either. I have been doing yoga for 20 years and still can’t do asanas like the instructor.
@Duval2k7 wrong back pay goes farther back, who told you that
they awarded me 10 % for my back I have been speaking about pain in my neck and back for decades after 2 operations i now walk with a cane and have weakness in both my arms and live in pain ,never had a c&p exam but i’m rated 100% for PTSD
Thank you guys so much for being so informative. I have watched other channels and all they do is promote their business.
Any advice on what to expect if you are called in for a 2nd C&P exam 5 years later for your back if not much as changed? Are they trying to lessen the rating or are there any other reasons for this 2nd exam? Thank you to anyone who replys..
The exam could go either way; I did my second C& P exam with a TDIU rating of 90 percent total and permanent with both knees… I got a new rating of 100 percent back, 50 percent feet and 10 percent tinitus. My first exam went ten years of back pay. I have five new and material claims currently at the board pressing the argument for date when entitlement occurred forty years ago… You have to know your claim to the core and make a calculated risk for back pay claims of this magnitude… CC& K did have my claim for a minute but dropped it…
Does the VA Require you to receive treatment in order to qualify for financial compensation? I would suspect ill need multiple surgeries from my service connected injuries, however it will take me out of work for some time. Is this something that is necessary for compensation. Also is treatment provided at all, or just compensation?
Two times criminals have been the cause of backpain. 2001 – abusive drill sergeant. 2021 abusive bike thief. 😫. 2001 hip fracture 2021 lower back muscle strain or fracture
I have spinal degeneration… documented. Will be retiring soon, so what type of compensation am I looking at in general?
I broke my right foot in service and it was never taken care of properly in the navy in 1998. I’ve had knee, hip, and back issues since. I have herniations in my S1, L5 but am not rated for it. Only for my foot 20%, hip 10%. I am always in pain and have been in pain for years but cannot get a dr to help me with writing a statement supporting my condition.
@Duval2k7 wow, that BS. I been waiting on my Foot issue since 2015, so they not gonna pay you back?
@Rapture Ready Eddie Well the should be debying veterans when the stuff is clearly in your records
Hello! question. Did you get 2nd C&P exam due to file increase your back condition or the VA just noticed you for reevaluation? What % of your back?
@gen justice No I didnt file for an increase. Im currently at 70% for my back and ptsd. Now just waiting to get their findings bcuz I think everything is finished…
My name is Herbert Antley and I was in field artillery. I have lower L 4 and L 5, and I beens having lower back pain sent I came home in 1981. I had surgery in 1998 on my neck. The Doctor said I will need surgery in future. I’m 10 per cent for tintinnis will little lost of hearing in my left ear. What do I do about my back
I suffred a back injury aboard ship in 1969 and was denied benefits until 2009. I needed back surgery because the pain became unbearable. The VA still gave me a hard time and I had to request a review in which the review officer apologized after looking at my induction medical which didn’t show any back problems which the navy claimed it was a congenial back condition. The back surgeon disputed the claim and said he saw old fractures to the pars, this probably occurred when my lower back impacted the catwalk railing as I was given a jet blast boost as I was trying to get off the deck. So the VA is giving me a 20% right leg and a 10% left leg for radiculopahty. Should I be given something for my back and the chronic pain I have not to mention the phripial poly neuropathy and restless leg syndrome I now have?
I’m currently filling for additional compensation and one filing was for chronic pain in my back and ankle. My DAV rep is telling me there is no filing for this and I’d have to declare it at my c&p exam to have them recognize it. Is this true, or have I picked the wrong organization to represent me. I had the vfw do it for me last time and that also went unproductive.
I was awarded 10% for Degenerative Joint Disease Lumbar Spine, Constant back pain radiating to my knee and lower leg. I was given Epidural Steroid Injection twice but still pain persists.
I was service connected disabled for a fall on the helicopter 25 years ago. But now I have severe back pain and also sacroiliac issues. But I was denied but I have no record of going to the medic for my back so they denied it.
