That was one of my favorite’s great workout and he seems like a really great guy
Really great workout. I did a workout very much like this for approximately 10 years and then another workout (maintenance) for another 10. Except for a bit of weight around the middle, it has served me well. I’m 75 y.o. and get compliments on what shape I’m still in.
Great workout. It’s almost identical to the reddit bodyweight routine, which a bunch of fitness nerds determined as the best exercises to work the most muscles in a little time.
“The romanian terror” is doing great things with your performance as an athelete and an actor for that matter. Awesome workout!!!
This is by far the best “Train like” video you have. Glen Powell and his PT clearly knows their stuff. No fancy machines, no dumb movements, just a smart superset with amazing compounded exercises and a lot of tears… loved it!
Hollywood is moving onto more full body compound exercises. They are still not cutting edge but it’s better than isolation obsession. The best way to train is the way wrestlers, boxers, Mixed Martial Artists train.
So glad you enjoyed!
He is who Scott Eastwood is supposed to be.
You know what they say: machines were only created because everything else was too hard.
Congratulations sir,I’m happy for you 🎉
All real and effective workouts. Unlike 99% of “Hollywood celebrity workout” videos.
This is real training! Real strength training for REAL LIFE! No gimmicks.
This guy’s smile is infectious.
You go Glen Powell amazing job! 💖
The movie is a masterpiece and Glen Powell did a great job 👏
I hope he has an even bigger career ahead of him.
Hangman role is the best in this movie after Pete Maverick
I remember first seeing him In Expendables 3; he was definitely my favorite of the new team members. I hope to see him one day headlining a big budget blockbuster
finally a good train like video that’s not absurd exercises. dumbbell presses and dealifts… they work
He was very good in Top gun I really hated the character but he was cool at the same time that’s a big W for the actor
Obviously nobody can match up to Val kilmer but he did very good
@José David Cortes Garay think of it like something fake. More of a show just to look good for tv
I personally, love the honesty of how much all that working out sucks. He actually looks sweaty and tired at the end too. Good job people.
This guy should have had a bigger part. He definitely reminded me of a young Ice.
Wish granted.
@José David Cortes Garay like a character or personality to play a character in a movie
how much like this exactlty, if you don’t mind me asking?
@Anand Laishram those guys are chubby and lazy. best way to train is the way track athletes train. out there in open air, exposed to elements, focused on movement of human body and the lifting of heavy stuff. we are mammals of endurance, not strenght.
@José David Cortes Garay ‘Gimmicks’ en éste contexto sería “teatralidad”. Lo que él dijo fue que esto es un entrenamiento realista, nada de teatralidades.
He’s just an actor who is happy to be typecast as a pilot.
@Jay J 🤓
Nice to see an actor not on gear
@mse hahahahhaa ok
.dot
@José David Cortes Garay its fake
Damn I can’t remember anything about that movie
🤣
The ropes are a gimmick. Pushups on rings are just an inefficient bench press. Oh, and did I mention steroids? Steroids.
Yes! 😃
Facts Lmao
Wow a celebrity workout that actually focuses on legit compound movements and doesn’t neglect the back. Surprising.
I seriously need that routine
With that “15 minute sprint” before a lifting session😂
100%. Scott has the career he does because of his name. No charisma, limited ability. Seems like a lovely guy though.
Exactly. Good strong compound lifts, rather than the pump workouts
He nailed the role and this movie calls for a prequel. Rooster, Hangman, Phoenix and the rest set the stage for more movies.
Mostly you guys didn’t notice him in Expendables.
That was honestly the first really solid “Men’s Health” workout I’ve seen. Glen Powell’s in great shape and trains with great form
I think he had a great character development
If you’re shooting for the maximum gains in shortest time possible you really can not go wrong with the compound lifts.
I’d personally add clean&jerk to the list as well.
Has a really charismatic smile yeah
SE doesn’t go for blockbusters, he has the screen presence but doesn’t want to use it or get involved with all the BS that goes with it.
@ADeadNøkkInside Rooster seemed a bit of a mix of both Iceman and Goose to be honest. You start to see the Goose in him come out at the last part of the film when he’s co-pilot to Maverick.
@WeylandsWonders that seems to be his character ark that brings out the Goose in him. He lets go of the past and doesn’t let it cloud his judgement or hold him back anymore. Mav helps to bring out the best in him, which is an awesome way of integrating both characters into the story
@ADeadNøkkInside Yeah for me the circle was complete with that baptism of fire at the end. I could even argue there’s some blood memory or psychic link of the Goose to Rooster with him ‘knowing’ where the heck that obscure radar fuse was on a Tomcat which will have not even been in service when he joined?
He’s awesome in “Everybody Wants Some”
Hombre guapísimo y muy profesional. Excelente entrenamiento 👏👏
This is easily the best actor workout video I’ve seen. Show’s the workout exactly, and it’s all tried and true stuff.
All you really need is these movement patterns: squat, hip hinge, horizontal and vertical push, horizontal and vertical pull.
6 exercises. Total minimalist approach. Everything beyond that is extra bodybuilding stuff.
He has a fitness coach unlike most people who cant afford it.
Lol no it’s not. It’s literally in the name “bodyweight.” Most of his exercises like deadlift, bench press, and rows are not bodyweight exercises
@Melvin Lui It wont matter if the goal is not performance. Meaning a max deadlift etc.
Lol
You know he’s an amazing actor when you hate his character
@Ghostsniperable yeah but many people who workout without a coach can still achieve a similar look, because what he’s doing is replicable. Most of these Hollywood workout videos have a bunch of bs that doesn’t work.
You mean Paul walker
