I’m glad Squat U is not fear mongering back flexion so much anymore, he’s been using the word “some” more recently when talking about back flexion and related pain, and giving more nuance to his discussion surrounding it, cool to see and a good piece of evolution of this channel.

No joke…. My pops has had 4 or 5 surgeries now on his back due to degenerative disc disease.
I’ve had back pain as well from stupid actions in the past, and up until the past year, struggled with low back pain (throbbing, aching, sharp shooting pains).
Developing core strength (abs,obliques-inner/outer, lower back), working on flexibility small amounts daily over time, and keeping a regimen are key to countering it (imo).. I feel like I’ve regressed to my mid 20’s (34) which is awesome after only 5 months of starting a fitness routine.
Hope you are able to push through and get to where you want to be, which is pain free. Best of luck to you!

I’ve recovered from a herniated disc, re worked my squat, hinge movement, and even worked in my pelvic mobility due to this channel. No more chiropractor, and not a single injury this year.

Good good good! I had really bad pain on my right lower back it felt like a sting. So there’s this thing I do at my job where I have to pick up alot of things so I always pick up the heaviest things with a proper squat even if it makes me look stupid. Back pain gone
Cat camels, McGill big 3, and normal stretching routine has helped my bulging/slipped disk a lot. Very grateful for this channel
