This guy is based and blew my mind more than once in just a few minutes
Glad you enjoyed it!
So many comments about the length of the video 😂 I love it when the videos are long the longer they are the more I know Ima learn!
He finally begins to reveal those 5 foods at 1:39:00: Eggs, potatoes, blueberries, meat in general (and fish & wild game are very good), broccoli.
Personally, I appreciate these longer videos. I enjoy having interesting content to listen to while I’m while I’m creating art or doing a craft. A longer video means I don’t have to stop what I’m doing to find something else worth listening to.
I enjoy listening to long videos when I’m sitting my desk at work and walking
most excellent, one of the very best yet, will have to rewatch to absorb the amount of new content, very generous of Dr Galpin, thank you both
Thank you for this . I’m trying to loose weight this helped a lot .
Great interview. Learned a lot. I don’t like the term “fasting”. I enjoy being fat adapted and not feeling hungry. I also feel better when there is no eating for about 16 hours between meals.
There is plenty of research pointing to improved autophagy and insulin response (for non-athletes) by having more time between meals. Still, to me that’s not fasting. It’s just time between meals.
Happy to hear this 🙂

You’re welcome🧡
I enjoy listening when I am driving and going about my day personally. Your videos are very helpful and impacting. I love how you ask questions that viewers as myself would like to ask!! I loose track of time when I am sitting at the feet of wisdom and knowledge 🙌✨️💜✨️ Thank you and keep them coming!! I also share them on my social media platforms as well.🤗
Agreed
@DYI-n-SAVE-FROM A-Z Awesome! Good on ‘ya
I love being subscribed ⚡️ The right videos always show up for me at the right time. This just started playing on the playlist after my meditation.. and it’s perfect to get me together. 🙏🙏🙏 for this great content 💕⚡️✨
I did 2 weeks is of IMF before I went on this venture. Now im trying to drink veggie broth to ease back into eating. Its as difficult to reseed as to stop. I do have a great sense of respect for people who are starving, as in no food in out country and others. The gut is sensitive to anything less than puree foods
Lewis, I know you read all these comments and learn from them. That being said READ the China Study! It is based on the longest ongoing nutrition study known. This is in response to the discussion happening at about 1 hour 10 minutes of this podcast. I really get a lot from everything you do and really appreciate your dedication. You are amazing!!!!!
Appreciate you! 🙏

@Lewis Howes thank you for the great guests. 😳 Seriously. And the time you put into getting it all together
Finally Dr. Galpin made it on to the podcast! He gives great insight to alot of topics and myths that people still are unsure about. The way he as well as other clinicians and scientists approach things with “it depends” goes to show they follow research and weigh the pros and cons to everything before giving a one size fits all.
🧡
Lewis Howes Is helping me Change my life for the better ..; I have to watch at least one interview a day 😎!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️
I love Lewis and his ability to remain neutral and engaged!!! What a gift!!! 🙌🏽 Because this guy(Andy) never really answered many questions directly and he talked in circles a lot! Seems like he was more concerned with his own intellectual perspectives and experiences than educating the listener🤷🏽♀️ But I did enjoy the quadrant exercise! That was great 👍🏽
Thank you so much for your feedback 🙂
Hey Lewis I would really appreciate an interview about skincare and the health of the skin in general. 🙂
Yes. I trust “it depends” because it really does!
Best “food” to lose weight is FASTING
Chosen as answers on the spot to the question, what 5 foods should you eat everyday if you had to eat the same food (bang for your buck, not optimal diet strategy)
Foods: 1) Eggs, 2) Potatoes, 3) Blueberries, 4) Meat and fish, 5) Broccoli
Supplements: 1) Multivitamin, 2) Creatine, 3) Fish oil
I’m concerned with the high levels of ticks in game meat. The ticks kill wild moose and deer deer in high numbers. Is this meat safe to consume? Wonderful conversation thank you both.
nothing new
@Larry Putra Yes, thank you for this caveat–if we’re gonna O.D. on cauliflower or other cruciferous veggies like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage or kale (kale is especially over-hyphed these days), then we gotta make sure we have enough iodine in our diet!
Wow your knowledge needs updates! Fasting has been used for millennia to heal our bodies and cause autophagy…. The food needs to be talked as subjective as choice of clothes, we all have an internal system if we learn to understand our bodies guide us what works for us
Lewis I love what and how you do it though, great effort in bringing different people and talk their stuff
Happy to hear this 🙂
I don’t eat chicken menses, potatoes limited or broccoli 🤷🏽♀️ sighhhh
Great videos and thank you! Pls consider that being introduced by Ellen might not be such a good thing… 😶
He talks but fades away at the end of his sentence. So sooo frustrating trying to understand him
So….eggs. This has been established very well in the literature. It is all dependent on if you are a responder or nonresponder. This can be determined by either looking at your genetics or doing a high egg diet for roughly a month and getting a blood test for cholesterol. Some people will have a dramatic rise in blood lipids while others will have no change.
@Cat Hamill 😄 Exactly!
