Would you happen to know of a tart recipe called maid of honour tarts? I’ve made my own homemade chia jam so I know I can replicate that part but I’m not so sure about the rest and my husband’s granny used to make them for him and he hasn’t been able to eat the ones his mom makes every Easter because they are basically an injection of sugar and heavy carbs into his blood stream and even one bite would send his sugars soaring to very dangerous levels so I’m trying to find something that wouldn’t cause that effect. 🥰🇨🇦❤️

Thank you for this recipe. I made it for my birthday cake and it was amazing! The combination of almond flour and coconut flour makes for a great texture for a cake. I had a bag of chopped hazelnuts so I substituted it for the pecans and it worked out very well.

Great! – first time I made it for the Easter weekend – strictly folowing the recipe. I actually found it too salty – and I usually like a lot of salt… – my family did not complain… last week I did use just a pinch of salt and the cake was perfect! I did add 40 Gramm of rasped chocolate 85% and as I do not like the taste of Erythritol I did use Canderel and for the cream half Canderel and the other half Sukrin Gold.
My daughter made this cake for my birthday celebration, exactly as per recipe. It was delicious!!!!!
