A life saving way to curb an addiction is to tell someone you love about what you’re going through. And go into excruciating detail about it. For me, I told my mom because she’d understand the most. You have to put your pride aside for this because the shame you will feel when discussing this is unlike any other. However she was incredibly understanding and I’ve been away for a little under a month now.

@Cole Hastings Your point on removing sources of urges is also awesome. Shortly after talking to my mom, I went home and removed literally everything that could make me go back. I already dont have an instagram which is nice, I deleted twitter. I put an nsfw filter on reddit. I even put an nsfw filter on my steam account. And everytime I get recommended a video on youtube with a tiny bit of nsfw in the thumbnail, (like fan service-y anime thumbnails) I block the channel from getting into my recommended.

Performance anxiety is real. I’d say it mostly happens when guys start wondering, “Am I doing this right?”, “Is she enjoying it?” – these kinda thoughts can drop your confidence. I’ve found it helpful to just get lost in the moment and feel every sensation during foreplay.

I think everyone has performance anxiety at one point or another. It’s quite sad that these values of taking your time and actually building connections with people are not taught more widespread. It also encourages antisocial behaviour towards women, which only adds to the larger negative cycles in society around sex.

Thank you Cole. You are a pioneer. One of the few men around who actually talks about this issue, even when it affects so many. I struggled a lot with the fact that I felt totally alone with this issue, like I was the only one around having to deal with it. But to hear your story and others that there is light at the end of the tunnel, has given me inspiration to turn things around.
It’s simple fellas. Stop watching porn, workout regular and have a healthy balanced diet. That’s all you need to be good down there !

It’s been 7 months off of porn and I feel so great! I also deleted both Facebook and Instagram because what’s the point of liking someone’s pictures if they don’t like yours back? Thank you Cole for being a blessing to all, and may your journey with God be broader.

Performance anxiety can definitely be related to too much porn consumption as well, I’m by no means qualified to talk about this, but my strategy is to go at least a few days, preferably a week without hitting it at all beforehand to make it easier to get up, and then ease into it, don’t expect too much of yourself or your partner and don’t stress about it, because that only makes it harder.
You know it really sucks that males pressure each other to have sex.I am almost 40 now and I waited to lose my virginity to a male until I was twenty-three. And it was with a guy that I did not know, who had a thing for me.He had a whole other family that I had no idea about. I knew that he just wanted sex, mainly because I know how males pressure each other to screw, etc etc as you were saying in this video. Women definitely have caught on to men screwing just for bragging rights. I felt like I was finally ready to just get it over with, it was very disappointing, it was quick, and when I saw him and his friends again they were all smiling… and I knew that he had told them.
But I knew that I was never going to have sex with him again for my own reasons and it didn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. Now if I was in high school in this happened I would have been torn up over it. I wouldn’t have had any kind of idea to why he would do that “to me”.

If you can rid porn from your life, you’re ahead of the game. Most dudes cave in in a bad day were all guilty of it. but some men run to porn too much.
After my first relationship that problem pushed me into a stretch of 4 years being absolutely afraid of having sex.
I’m still trying to get out of it, because it really influences every other part of your life. You’re getting depressed and the feeling of being excluded from society, because everyone else seems to have sex easily, drives you absolutely crazy. Thanks to therapy and a growing will to get off that mindset, I feel better and have hope to get love and sex once again in my life.

@Theo vl are u saying its not helping?? What helped me was stay away from sugar and keeps carbs low. Plus at the gym, ONLY DO REPS OF 5 OR 6 MAX. Do not do reps of 10 to 15. Up the weight so u can do 5 reps max. 4 to 6 sets. My testosterone levels jumped and dont do intense cardio. Bad. Kills testosterone. Do light jog or walk
