thank you so much for posting this wonderful documentary – I had no idea it existed, but realise now that I was missing it madly.
does anyone know who the composer is who wrote the beautiful music at the start of this video??
@GeorgesBarras I did not know about Einaudi before you referenced him here. Allow me to take this opportunity to thank you for telling me about him; he is a marvelous composer. Do you know of any other composers who make similarly beautiful music? Thanks again.
@singingandsighing I was also wondering this (I had suspected Eno), do we know if it is Einaudi playing here and, if so, which track?
@lioneljluthor Hey! If you look closely at the credits at the end of the documentary it says” original music composed by “Eddie Martin.” I have been trying to find his compositions but have had no such luck. Perhaps you can do better. π
this is good stuff… his poetry is very precise
For anyone still interested the music is by Max Richter – ‘Vladimir’s Blues’ from The Blue Notebooks.
Great rendering
The orator they use has such a marvelous voice, so soothing and deep.
Thank you, this has been added to our playlists here and on facebook..
