I’ll try these!! My Italian mother and I have made the for years..they are a great cookie. Our cookie is flavored with anise seeds that I finger crushed, like our pizzelles. The glaze is the same but with lemon. Thanks for the recipe.

I’m making these again today with orange zest! The last batch, lemon, went in three days with only me eating them. 😋 I’m leaving off the dip this time. They don’t need it, imo. WONDERFUL cookies..more like mini cakes.
Your recipes all look so delicious! I am a pretty strict carnivore, but will be “cheating” with Keto desserts this Christmas. I plan to make these cookies for my Italian ex-husband and kiddos! Do I absolutely have to include the coconut flour? It’s quite expensive and I know I won’t be using it much again.
If you don’t use it, you need to use an extra 1/4 cup almond flour.
