Piezo surgery was utilized to break the periodontal attachment and section this fractured tooth. This allowed for mucheasier elevation and atraumatic removal of the root fragments with Accu Lux-tome from Blue Sky Bio. Video recorded using HD Loupecam.
i had my tooth pulled using pliers 2 days ago and it was just a matter of seconds and it didnt hurt as bad even though my teeth was still strong and fully intact with my gum 🙂
That was one stubborn tooth! I thought I was going to get seasick from watching the rocking back and forth of the pliers! Lol That looked real tough to do. Great job!
Dang, that tooth did not give up easily!
MAGGOT THERAPY why did you need it taken out
Mark Konings I felt same today😂😂😂Tooth didn’t came out and joined to lower part by very small joint
chocchip187 he had maggots in his tooth
IF this is what I have to go through to NOT be in pain, I’M READY!!!
I had awful pain around my molar, it was keeping me up. I had it removed an hour ago; I rang up for an appointment went straight down, the dentist numbed me and then began her work. It was out in less than two minutes! Although I am feeling sore now I am so happy!
Right
Motivation
@J F i don’t know you
I had two of mine yanked out a while ago, as well as a tooth that was just roots that just slid out my jaw, according to the dentist who took the buggers out. Thank god for kind NHS surgeons and dentists!
Fantastic work, your skills make the dentist seem much less terrifying. Well done.
Let’s be serious, you searched for this
This gives me relive that I’m not the only one with a broken cavity
Imagine that moment when it all comes out and all you have now is relief
I remember having my tooth pulled. What a great feeling.
Nah cuddi he wAs jus playin wit it dentists be messed up in the head like that
You did what?
First time watching an extraction on YouTube!
In 20 years of assisting for countless extractions, this instrument that basically detaches the tooth from the bone, has to be the coolest thing I’ve seen. This could have made so many extractions of the past -where the root extraction didn’t come out clean, it came out with the bone that was attached to it- so much easier for the patient to heal! Wow that was really impressive!
I had this done yesterday and I hollered so loud in that dental office , I felt EVERYTHING. That numbness only worked for about 10% . I had tears in my eyes
This is the reason why no matter how lazy or tired I am, I will never skip brushing my teeth.
Then you didn’t get enough sedation. Almost all of my teeth are pulled out. Ready for implants and they didn’t put me to sleep Just gave me on each side 2 injections up down , left and right like 8 in Total and hé asked me all the time are you okay , are you okay and hé gave me two extra shots in the middle and i didn’t feel a thing.
Were you tortured?
To the people who are gonna have an extraction and are worried as hell about this, let me just tell you from a cry baby prespective that the extraction it self Will not hurt at all and you feel only some pressure of the tooth getting pulled out and the only mild pain you Will feel is the needels, But before hand you can ask the dentist to apply numbing gel so you can minimize the injection pain, but trust me it Will only feel a pinch and after that your mouth Will feel numb, And for me the hard part is the recovery part.
Just had 2 extracted this morning. The coronal portion broke during the 2nd one, it was my upper left canine. Being a craftsman whos had to extract drill bits and taps out of pieces before I was a bit worried when I heard and felt the tooth crack as the doc was wrenching on it, he had the root out in another minute or 2. Now Im browsing these videos on here 😂.
I have to call the dentist to get this and probably more done…this inspired me a little more :/ last time I had a tooth pulled I cried like a baby the whole time and I was already 17 or 18..
Thank you for this I’m scared to go get my 2 teeth pulled but I can’t stand the pain I’m in anymore.
i just got an infected tooth extraction and i stand by this, it was honestly funny how the whole extraction part was no pain at all and the only pain i felt was the mouth ulcers that randomly appeared in my mouth days before and the injection LOL
been having this bad toothache, went to the dentist to get it pulled but halfway through the procedure we both realized the anesthesia didn’t work, only realized when the clipper thingy was pulling on my tooth, one of the worst pain i could ever experience in this lifetime..Having no choice, we called it off and i took a week of anti biotics, Went back, anesthesia didn’t work again, this kept happening for God knows how many times, so now I’m here watching videos to comfort myself while dealing with the worst toothache I’ve ever encountered
Could’ve kept this one to yourself we need positive stories 😂
my molar extraction was much simpler.. except for the wisdom.. it took me 4 hours to have it finally pulled out..in one piece.. and i kept this teeth..so perfect… i felt it was such a waist to loose a fine teeth and keep the molar beside it (almost decaying with very little filling) finally i was able to save 2 wisdom and letgo the decaying molars… my dentist was very good in saving my wisdoms…after 25 yrs i still have my wisdom molars…
😂 take it out now! Here! Have it! It’s yours😂
Do they put you under before doing all of this ?
@Jesiah Bush uck
Much easier for the patient to heal. Not really but it sounds good when you buy the instrument
lol they didn’t do it right. When my dentist was pulling my tooth he shot me twice. When they started pulling I couldn’t feel nothing but then I felt a sharp pain and he asked me “do you need more?” And I replied “yes.” He shot me two more times and that was the end of that story. All i felt was relief when they were pulling it and slight pressure which felt like a itch being itched. It felt so fucking good, especially at the end when they blasted my whole mouth and the hole. I got another one coming up Wednesday cannot wait. 2 molars down at 28 ayee not so bad lol.
@Tony Ramirez ur not alone man getting denture implant surgery soon and im 21. Did the same thing with eating candy & drinking soda. We’ll be alright. 💯
Beautiful Corey! Really like the way the cortical plates are preserved! Well done!
They didn’t do it right. I had my tooth pulled out with just a shot and no sedation. Nothing about it hurt.
@SMDWAMFC No, it’s good for people to vent about things.
Same here
@Suzette Miller that’s the issue I’ve been having..my mom is way too ignorant, she keeps on telling me to man up and that it shouldn’t hurt because of the anesthesia
@Giorno Giovanna I heard it hurts some people and doesn’t hurt other people. I am one of the people that it didn’t hurt. I am fortunate to have the nicest and smartest dentist. She doesn’t butcher the mouth but cutting the gums or drilling the tooth like I’ve seen in all these videos. And when I started getting crying and hyperventilating, she stopped to make me feel better and asked me if I wanted to continue or to not have it done. But with that being said, and even though my tooth didn’t hurt when it came out, because the numbing shot worked – I still wish I would have been unconscious such as during real surgery. It was traumatizing, sort of like being in a horror movie, to be stuck to a chair when someone removes an inside body part that is alive and connected to you. I could feel the tooth coming out, and scraping the infected pocket, then the stitches, although it didn’t hurt. But I would have rather not felt any of that. I would re-iterate my recommendation to find a sedation dentist from someone with good reviews of tooth removal procedures.
I’m having a tooth extracted in a few weeks. The pain it’s caused me is the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life, I kept ice in my mouth for weeks cause it caused the pain to go away but I went to the dentist a few days ago and he said I have frost bite in my mouth and now that is bothering me so much I can’t open my mouth all the way. He prescribed me antibiotics though and I feel SOO much better, I do not wish this on my enemies…
Same, mine is rotted to the core now I think it’s infected 🤦♂️
@Sasha Darling not in England they don’t on the NHS. we have a big green injection in the gums around the affected tooth or teeth. you can’t feel any pain. it’s not that bad tbh your usually in alot of pain at that point anyway so having tooth pulled is normally a huge relief.
@KashhSquad “he shot me twice” bro 💀
@Kween Tingz i have two of these monsters
@Axeliaa how was it?
@Princewill Tamunosoye not at all, you may feel slight pressure but it’ll be over before you know it.
@BalkanskoZlato i got one today, not as bad as i thought. how did yours go?
I thought about it once when I was in severe tooth pain. But I didn’t due to my fear of it braking up.
ya…the cutting wasn’t as scary as the other videos…this one is by far the cleanest
True 🙂
@marty had mine done today too the worse part was honestly them jamming that damn needle in your jaw to numb you up before they remove it I was actually surprised how quickly my dentist got it out literally less than 20 seconds
Yes bc I gotta get one pulled
@GLORIA DOWNING dont blame ya hun i have an appt with anesthesia very soon imma say two things KNOCK ME OUT and make sure i go home with meds already no prescriptions because too many people tell me it hurts bad when you get home n tylenol dont do it
After they pulled all 4 of my wisdom teeth at one time two healed and other two is why i have to go back they gotta cut it open to see if any teeth was left behind sighs im not ready for this but as long as im sleep shouldnt be a issue
Why did he have to rock it back and forth so much though so fast possibly breaking it into smaller pieces. I’ve seen extractions that are slow and steady that come out a lot cleaner and not have to pick so much.
@Daniel A Gregorich I know. I don’t know why. I am not a dentist. ; )
Yeah unless they use a huge needle 😂
What happen to the space the molor was in
Yeah, i think it’s interesting seeing teeth getting pulled out
Yes..
Ye….
Yeah…..
