Low cholesterol is associated with higher all cause mortality. Cholesterol is an essential part of a healthy body. Without cholesterol you die. It is responsible for all hormones and associated functions of those hormones. I wouldn’t be happy about lowering it. I’d be looking at the ratios rather than a total count

I think it’s very interesting many people commenting about the benefits of plant based diet and I am looking into both sides because u can literally take comments from both sides of the videos and switch them around and they’ll look the same. People are just talking about how it’s working for them. And someone that was a vegetarian once for 2 years and am now on carnivore diet. I definitely feel much stronger and better overall on meat. I’m not saying one is right I think it is person to person. But one thing we all agree on is that all this highly processed crap is terrible for us.

To update anyone curious. I only did that diet for 3 weeks. And I switched back because most of the energy benefits went away and started to get foggy. But think it was because I was losing a lot of weight. I am 6’3 I was already on a diet went from 257-247 started carnivore at 247 dropped down to 234lbs. Now eating 50%protein 25-25 carbs and fats to try and get a good balance out of it. Feeling pretty good and my sex drive went back up. Cause being on carnivore it went way down which was interesting none the less. The typical bodybuilding diet works best for me. Healthy carbs and greens and high protein that is from meats. Tho it is very obvious that inflammation was coming from carbs. I eat not sugar and within a week I could feel inflammation come back. Which completely went away when I didn’t eat carbs. Very odd. Everyone just try and do what is best for you. Remember we need cattle also to naturally keep our soil fresh and nutritious for our other food.

I don’t know if I’ll ever take the plunge to go vegetarian but I have had a lot of fun these past 5 weeks increasing vegetables in my diet, learning lots of wonderful recipes for veggies on YouTube. And the indirect effect of this is me decreasing my intake of meat, dairy and most importantly processed foods. I have felt full eating large amounts maintaining my healthy weight and have felt healthy and full of energy.

@Alex Ashleigh I don’t disagree that people can have just as healthy with animal foods but very little of it, in my opinion. I would tend to overeat it and then just cut it out altogether. It’s just working so I kept the food program. I just feel free now from the specter of heart disease and other ailments such as overweight, or stroke possibility, and free of addiction to super rich foods.
