I’ve been really loving keto. I made some Christmas cookies and put some sprinkles on it that had sugar in it. It didn’t make me sick.
I have a splash of heavy cream & butter everyday in my coffee! It keeps me satisfied & breaks my fast the way I need it to. But I won’t say it works ror everyone. At this point I want a slower weight loss. So a tad bit more dairy(fat) is fine. Plus… why would I give up coffee?!
Do what works for you!! 🖤 Nobody is the same. What works for me may not work for you. And vice versa.

I told my dietician about your channel the other. I do keto for narcolepsy and seizures but your recipes offer more range and options for me.
Also, who on earth thinks heavy cream isn’t part of the keto diet?? It’s one of the staples!

I’ve been on keto for awhile now and I will never go back to my SAD diet… It’s easy for me! I do eat healthy, organic, grass fed.I love to cook. I feel great. I have the best body I’ve ever had and I’m 66! Thank you the wonderful recipes!
I want to vent. I’ve been slacking and completely disgraceful and not disciplined with nutrition. Today starts my new life. Im a pescertarian and going to follow interment fasting/paleo-keto meditarrainin type diet. Its mostly a way of life. When I eat healthy and properly its a natural high and I feel better more confident and look better. Nutrition is very important and ill still have my cheatmeals but far and not often.
Best advice ever! Nobody elected some people to be the keto police. There is no such position. If someone thinks they’re a keto cop, step away from that person as quickly as possible!
Yeah, I need to wrap my head around this better. I’m doing ketovore right now but will be going to carnivore for a short while because I convinced my son to do it with me and I’m hoping it will finally break him of his carbohydrate addiction. But I plan to go back to a more mixed diet because no matter how healthy a diet is, if you can’t enjoy yourself, sticking with it will be hard. Especially if eating was what brought you happiness.
I agree! But I wouldn’t consider any of the foods you listed as “dirty” keto. Cream, nut flours and natural sweeteners are staples of clean keto.

My pleasure! I’ve never had difficulty with sticking to keto (I’m relatively strict, but have my 4 or 5 pretty minor things I do that the keto police would call me on. Those were the little, sorta picky things that the keto police COULD call me out on, but I knew I needed to stick to keto. LOL You’ll find your dealbreakers and make your own decisions. Good luck!
Omg, you read my mind! I was just planning to make my own peppermint candy ice cream, the only sugar free mints I could find in my area are the Koochikoo ones and they are just clear. Any suggestions how I could simulate the red bits? I thought of just tossing some crushed candies with red colour before adding them, anyone think this would work?
Love this! Constantly hear people telling me how I’ll have super high cholesterol from eating high-fat food. My cholesterol level has gone down dramatically since I started keto. Eat a lot of fatty foods and still don’t exercise the way I should. Got to love these critics. Thanks for all you put out there!
@Lucinda Jackson I was never thin or my ideal weight even in school. Then I had babies! I wear a smaller size than I ever had since childhood…I always had belly fat! Then I had health issues. No more since keto! I went on keto to get healthy. The weight loss was a bonus!

Yes, that’s what I always say – the weight loss is a beautiful side effect! I know others with the same story about weight as you and keto helped them achieve bodies they never dreamed of, whether that was their purpose or not.
I had been slender or average thinness all of my life (size 7, 8 or 9), but after my first child? Not so much. I weighed the same on the day I came home from the hospital as I had pre-pregnancy, but within 6 months the weight just packed on. 🤷🏼♀️ And it never budged. No matter how strictly I dieted. Once I went low carb, it was better but I had to go full keto to really shift my health and my body.
