Logically the loss is not something which may happen but is certain to happen! Also the foreskin contains the most erogenous parts of the male sexual organs and is therefore a larger component of overall sensitivity than the head of the penis. Surely any potential patient asking for amputation of the most erogenous part of their genitalia on the grounds of hygiene needs guidance of good personal hygiene rather than amputation of normal and healthy supposedly difficult to clean parts? Would you amputate other normal bodyparts if the same request were made, the ears perhaps?

Well said and so true. Foreskin plays very vital role during sexual intecourse because it keeps moving back and forth and that increases the pleasure of sex not just the glans. Also mostly people who suffer from ED are circumcised.
