To kick off Black Maternal Wellness Week, lawmakers and supporters gathered at the state Capitol Tuesday, asking for more awareness, discussion and plan to shield mothers of color.

" This isn't simply a week," stated Hafeeza Turé host of the Labors of Love podcast. "This is 365, this is our lives."
