Love your channel! I feel like I should “thank you for your service” to the keto community! I do have a request. Can you let us know whether and how/how long a recipe can be frozen? I live alone (and am older so I have fewer calories to spare for treats), and having these around the house leads me to over indulge. If I could store them in my basement freezer, I might be able to enjoy them without getting into trouble 🙂 You are a treasure!

I would scoop/roll all the dough just like I did in the video and instead of baking them, freeze them like that, then put in a freezer bag once solid, then pull out and defrost on a sheet tray before baking. The dough will last 4-6 month in the freezer. If you want to bake them all off, let them cool then put in a freezer bag, they will last about 2 months like but they won’t taste as good doing it that way. Hope that helps!

You are gonna have a hard time finding a recipe that is any closer to the real thing. I even broke down and bought a rolling pin with bands, it made the task of rolling out the dough so much easier. I can’t wait to try your cookie recipes. Cookie recipes have probably been the toughest desserts to successfully keto-fy. I’ve tried several recipes and none of them really worked except for a ginger cookie recipe that was supposed to be a ginger snap recipe but came out like a soft cookie instead. It was pretty cake-like in its texture but it still tasted good. So, I’m looking forward to a cookie recipe that really works as a cookie.

I tried the whipped shortbread today — WOW. I made a mistake adding a little salt with the salted butter, but the texture was awesome. I think I’m going to try them again tomorrow with the almond extract instead of vanilla. I was wondering what you would do to make them chocolate shortbread?

Yay! Glad you enjoyed them!! Chocolate always makes everything harder because it is so drying. You can try adding chocolate protein powder instead of unflavored but with the delicate balance with not many ingredients they may mess up. I’d have to experiment with that to give you a good answer.
I’m excited too. Hopefully I’ll be able to fit in some more camping next year, we don’t get to go as often as we would like to.

Thank you for these and all you do! I recently tried Purecane powdered sugar in chocolate buttercream frosting and it came out tasting like normal chocolate frosting! The best I’ve made so far, no cooling effect.
It would be SUPER helpful if you could create a list of items for us to stock our pantries with for the upcoming holiday season and a list of all the recipes we would be able to make using those ingredients!!! Because there is nothing more frustrating then watching one of your videos and seeing you prepare something absolutely delicious but going to the pantry to pull out all the ingredients to make it myself and then realizing I don’t have a specific ingredient and not having a clue where I can get it or how long shipping will take. If you could help with that as you mentioned in your video that would be super helpful!!! Plus did you know how easy it is to make your own Keto sprinkles?! Simply make a keto egg white icing and separate into bowls or different ziploc bags and add a drop of gel into each bag and mush it around and then cut a tiny hole and then on parchment paper just draw your lines of icing and don’t worry if they aren’t straight and then just leave it to dry and then break the sticks into small pieces. Super simple and easy and makes beautiful colored sprinkles add them after they come out of the oven and on to icing. Thanks for all you do!!!🥰❤️🇨🇦
