hey, I’ve been doing this for the past two weeks. Can you get back to me about how much time it wouls take an average person to see improvements with erections during sex? I’d take an estimate as well.
Regards.
@DeftonesPony great question! This varies alot depending on the preexisitng strength of the pelvic floor muscles and the training. Some men start to notice night time erections after a few weeks while for others with very weak muscles this can take weeks to months. Other measures to consider too include whole body exercise to increase penile blood flow, relaxation/meditation, reduce alcohol/meds if possible and speak with your doctor about the use of Viagra as a temporary measure. Hope this helps and all the best!
@Michelle Kenway I’ve noticed more morning wood which kind of disappeard slightly after quitting porn and masturbation, can you say that 3 months is a good measure if I do 3 sets of your exercise routine daily?
Hi Michelle.
I was reading an article on kettlebell swings. Apparently they have many benefits for the pelvic floor, including bladder problems, rectal prolapse, and erectile dysfunction!
I am a 35 year old male with a mucosal rectal prolapse and neurogenic bladder.
I have always worked out, and used kettlebells, but in the last month, out of curiosity I have made a concerted effort to kettlebell swing at least 100 reps most days.
I would say that some of my symptoms have somewhat eased!
I’d be interested to hear if you have any ideas or knowledge on the subject!
Thank you for all your work.
@solomonkain great question! Actually kettlebell swings can load the pelvic floor so they are something to watch out for with pelvic floor dysfunction. The wide leg position and the weighted lean forward increases downward pressure from the abdomen to the rectum and anus.I really need to make a vid on gym exercises for guys to watch out for with pelvic floor problems. Would this be of benefit to you? Or what would help you exercise safely?
@Michelle Kenway thanks Michelle for your helpful and insightful response.
What you say makes sense, and the reason I asked you was because I too had doubts as to the efficacy of kettlebell for people who suffer with similar issues such as myself!!
Both videos are a great idea and I’m sure many of us would be very grateful. I personally would choose exercises to avoid (in my case – all of them!).
I’ll just finish by quickly saying my symptoms are worse on the move (only standing, not sitting) – terrible lower abdominal tension with urinary urgency and retention and a sensation in the rectum and or anus (a pressure – could be the small prolapse or a hypertonic pelvic floor). I feel this all the time and it never ever subsides.
Let’s see where a little bit more experimentation with kettlebell swings gets me!!
Reps?
Sets?
@whoisthebossimtheboss4587 up to 10 reps of 10 second holds, 6 times daily – best strength gains in standing but you may need to work up to this volume of exercise. Good luck 🤞
@Michelle Kenway
thank you.
Have a great day.
Your doing a great job.
After you exercise I feel like Horse 🐴thank you Michelle ❤
