i have sore throat for last 2years which has progress to pharyngitis(more than 1year).I had meet with doctor several times,But initially there were a white spot found in my mouth at the upperside then i have done my surgery for tonsil,after few months i have feel the pharyngitis.then i have meet with several doctor for several times,I have took too many antibiotics for pharyngitis but the ultimate result is zero.Now a days i feel like soreness,cough,pain and dry throat with pharyngitis.at this situation I cant understand what is going on.please give me a sugesion for better treatment.i am almost mentally sick for this reason,Thank u.

Candida is an opportunistic mycoses which is actually normally available flora in oral cavities of 40% of the population. Oral candidiasis has a strong relation with diabetes, residuals left in the oral cavity after corticosteroids inhalers which are immunosuppressed states.
Candida esophagitis exists as well which are the same white spots seen within the esophagus and this one is strongly related to AIDS as it starts to appear when our CD4 cells are below 100.
Another form is vaginal which if you look into it could be cause by antibiotic usage or birth control pills which also changes the normal state of immunity
Hence I wouldn’t exclude having a look at the amount of neutrophils when i see a candida patient.
