Regarding the 2nd type of erection, you mentioned it going away after urinating, I was told that erection goes away because the muscle in the penis plays a part in “boosting” the bladder from holding in the need urinate overnight, hence why it goes away after urination as there is no longer a need to help the bladder hold in the urge to go. Is that incorrect?

Erectile Dysfunction is often linked to disturbed olfactory senses. Primarily when the male is in relations with the opposite sex. This disturbance can lead to irritability of the nerves thus leading to a negative feedback loop; which has a proclivity to cause the male to withdrawal physically & psychologically from his natural sexual instincts.

@dead and blue there are support groups. I can’t really tell you what to do, except to mention that the connections and resources available to people are abundant. I’m not saying the internet is any substitute for human contact, but maybe use it to search for others going through the same, particularly if you want to actually meet up with people in your area.

I’ve heard about certain possible life events such as miscarriages, toxic relationships or physical diseases such as multiple sclerosis or other neurological and endocrine problems as well as lymphadenopathy causing ED. I also recently read an article showing that medications like Suboxone causing this. What does someone do if they’re suffering from an autoimmune condition (exempli gratia, MS & lymphatic damage) do to resolve the problem hypothetically?

@Rajvo7 I had a near death experience and had a trauma. Talked to a psychiatrist and she prescribed me those. When I read the side effects of the medicine I threw them immediately away lol. All of the sudden I didn’t feel anxious enough to get chronic impotence and death wish (probably resulting from the former).

#1 cause of erectile dysfunction in men over 50 is women over 50! Had conversation about that with my primary Dr and he mentioned that when male patients in their late 40s-50 come in asking for viagra he steers them a different direction. He goes by telling them to find a younger woman(in her 20s) . He even goes as far as telling them to hire a hot escort for just one hour with no intercourse required. He says they never come back asking for the script. lol
