Carbs are good for supplying glycogen to the muscles. Keto is cool but then you will need to compensate for the electrolytes you’ll be losing from not eating carbs.

Yeah my caffeine intake went up when I experimented with keto about 2 years ago. Not saying keto is bad but it’s definitely not for me lol

Does keto come with the vitamin supplements?
The Keto diet causes the body to produce keto bodies(acids). This is detrimental to health and can only be sustained for 6 months, any longer on the keto diet and it can have serious eventual consequences. When you do the keto diet it causes the body to go under gluconeogenesis. Don’t do this first longer than 6 months
@Julian Dardano most diets have a certain recoil, would u agree that using certain principles from these diets can be healthy?
It’s good to know the other side of the argument but realistically our body probably understands if it’s in a detrimental crisis due to lack of ‘non-Keto’ foods
@Will to an extent yes but not a lifestyle, ketosis causes you to have a higher change of devolving kidney failure,heart disease, stroke etc. Human were meant to eat carbs that’s why we have digestive enzymes in our mouth and stomach for specifically breaking down carbs. Our body will respond however it could be too late to reverse any damage done

I agree that we have systems in place which evolved for carbohydrates, the thing is though; we’re not simply animals. We have the ability to do things animals can’t such as optimise our diets.
We aren’t limited to ancient physiological barriers.
