I really don’t get why people freak out over this, there isn’t anything bad about eating the skin. It’s just a strange texture at first, but the flavor is good.

Honestly don’t know how they even taste since the one time I remember its taste (was sent to emergency hospital from that btw) my allergy affected the taste and since I was younger, I remember it being extremely sickening- (I don’t know if it was less sickening or more)
so when people say or mention kiwi being delicious, i just simply cannot understand, plus when i say I’m allergic and i don’t like it either way they give me weird looks. (not trying to make them look bad like I’m pretty sure every time this happened these people were my friends, I think

@Tanner Rossiter No they’re not, they’re made of Konjac flour and they’re so low in calories because they are about 95% water. You’re probably thinking about shiitake mushrooms.

be careful with shirataki noodles, if you eat too many or not drink enough water it feels like your stomach is going to explode (or you just vomit which also isn’t fun) 😬

I don’t really view 20-50 calories a serving to be “almost 0” calories. I was thinking about things like celery, lettuce, coffee, and hot sauce.
I’ve been eating watermelon so much that the amount of calories did matter, i can literally ea a whole watermelon without even feeling tired

And jusr bc something is low calories doesnr make it healthy either. Just eat your fruit and veg, get your protein, limit food with any added sugar and limit your carbs, e.g if eating rice have a small portion anf serve wirh a large portion of veggies + meat/fish etc etc.. counting calories is kinda dumb to me unless toure like morbidly obese. Just watch what you eat tbh and exercise
@just a racoon chilling in a toilet I agree about lower calorie not always being healthier. What is “healthy” is not as simple as it’s calorie count. However, I think everyone can gain from counting their calories at least temporarily. I find that people rarely have a good intuition about the macros in food unless they’ve tracked for at least a few months. There are plenty of things I thought were a good fit for my macro goals that I realized didn’t make much sense once I got it mapped out on paper.
