  2. I’ve been doing 2 smoothies and a meal a day to go along with my workouts for 2 weeks now. I hadn’t been able to drop any pounds especially since I’m nursing my baby. Fat sticks to me. So far I’ve only lost a few pounds and I miss breakfast 😭

  3. Great video! As a heads up a large amount of Smoothie King’s smoothies are loaded with sugar. Island impact was my favorite then I started to read their nutrition pamphlet when I got more health conscious and the 20oz has 54 grams of sugar which is insane.

  5. I agree with the part about not being a lifestyle but it is good to lose weight fast but how you eat after that determines whether you’re going to put back to weight or not. I eat one meal a day as a lifestyle and I’ve been doing it for years at this point so the smoothie diet is easy for me. Two smoothies a day and then a small meal so that way when you do go back to eating regular food it Hass to be healthy and you won’t gain the weight back. I also incorporate working out five days a week I started this in May so far I lost 40 pounds and it is now August.

  7. I lost so much weight with smoothies. I added protein powder. You need it to feel full for longer. With protein you need 2 to 3 smoothies a day only. You feel full all day long.

  8. I love your honesty at the end of the video, I’ve done the “smoothie diet” and I totally feel you that it isn’t a lifestyle you definitely need food, BUT it’s good if you have a trip or event coming and want to look good 🙂 !

  9. To anyone watching this a year later – when detoxing, it gets worse before it gets better!! Once you get past days 3-4, it gets much easier, so don’t give up! Also make sure to incorporate veggies into smoothies so you’re not too heavy on natural sugars.

  13. Based off of my experiences. Mixing Keto diet, smoothie diet and seafood diet. You wont get bored because theres so many varieties of what you can eat and they all can be/are low carb and low calorie based.

    I went on a keto diet for almost a month. I loved it but the meals started to not satisfy my taste buds if you know what i mean and i wasn’t feeling as full as i use to. So now im trying the juice diet with some keto snacks on the side and i like Asian food/sea food so ill probably get a little of that too. Im hoping this plan keeps me full, helps my craving, keeps me hydrated and satiated.

  15. I’m about to start this today! Getting my smoothie food and blender in a few. I’ve gained so much weight having thyroid issues it’s not even funny, I’m so depressed, sucks from having a nice shape to being basically obese 😭 it’s all in my stomach and face 😔 but anyways, I love how u wanted to give up but didn’t! That’s me, but I will give up lol this is great motivation for me tho, seeing someone go thru with it 💕. I wonder if we can add collagen peptides to it 🤔

  16. I went on a liquid diet but before then I went on keto and supplemented one meal with an Atkins shakes two weeks before. Had salads and low carb wraps with only protein and vegetables. Started my liquid fast on a Sunday. 2 smoothies, 2 Atkins keto drinks, coffee and sparkling water no processed sugars. The trick is tricking your mind into think you have variety. Don’t limit yourself to only smoothies. You can drink tea, sparkling water with stevia, lemon juice made with stevia, broth soup (blend garlic, ginger, spinach) add some oatmilk. Home made smoothies are better add fiber powder, protein, almond butter and spirulina. I recommend making it with oatmilk and almond milk. All this to say you have to prepare yourself and supplement your protein, fiber and energy source.

    *Starting intermittent fasting or keto before hand helps with feeling less hungry because during them you naturally develop a lower appetit

  17. @Temicka I totally quit that. It wasnt working for me at all. Im actually getting results now. Only working out 15 min 3 times a week! I’m feeling so good and eating meals including carbs. Lost 15 pounds so far and 3 inches off my mid. It’s slow stead weightloss but I’m happy with it. 💜

  18. @The Normal Life oh that’s awesome. I drink smoothies as a meal replacement for breakfast. But I add greens, benefiber, organic green super food powder, blue spirulina powder, fresh squeezed lime, almond or coconut milk, flavorless protein powder and 2 frozen fruit of my choice. Thats an entire meal replacement with protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals. It hold me for 4 hours until I get hungry.

    However, I eat regular food for lunch and dinner🤣

And for the ones that are still up for the challenge: keep with the homemade ones, put in veggies, some good source of fat and great source of protein or your body will just get rid of the water and muscle, not the fat and will keep you fuller longer, and will minimize the pick of insulin. Also be careful with the amount of calories, too low is really bad and unnecessary, stay around your metabolic basal rate or up so you can function. Be safe guys ❤️
