I just recently went on a 2 week detoxification to cleanse my body of toxins and enhance my gut and immune health and wellness. Certainly I vlogged it all! Enjoy to see how I did and if I had the ability to make it with.

Please inform me that I read the price correctly? Over a thousand dollars? No way! I really think just with the information obtained from this video, anyone can accomplish this detox if they feel it’s necessary! Healthy liver is your cheerleader ❤
For a “free” detox, take out the bad(gluten, dairy, preservatives/herbicides, artificial colors/flavors, sugar, packaged good, alcohol). Switch to organic fresh veggies, purified water, clean meats, etc. Epsom salt baths. Walk everday. Your body will naturally “detox.” But, if you want to spend the money, do it. Pea protein concerns me.
right. I hesitate at a $30.00 detox. lol
It is so annoying that internet that can be a such great source of information and at the same time can be so deceiving. It’s scary.
And the worse thing is that so many people believe it 😫Detox is a multibillion-dollar industry that does nothing for our body! There aren’t just toxins floating around in our bodies, and nothing that we buy over the counter is going to help with that, anyway…
Before putting anything in your body talk to your doctor, research…we live in the world full of marketing. Be smart people, with your bodies and your wallet too. XoXo from overseas 😊
pea protein gags me. 😂
I’m surprised that a savvy woman like Dominique would go for this.
Marketing! Don’t forget that she is an influencer. Her job is to influence people like us, and make money with just a click away…
There are many good tips influencers can give us, but videos like this is a no no to me…
The price for this detox is outrageous. Period. End of story.
Exactly!!!
I believe you can do your own short term detox. I gave up caffeine and alcohol 2 years ago and walk 4K every year ther day and that has helped so much
You stole the words right out of my mouth 🙈🙄
I totally agree with this. AND doing it as a program, with others, and supplements to support certain aspects, might be a great start for someone who isn’t kicking in the healthy approach you mention any other way.
Hi Christina, you are on point 😊. I do a liver cleanse twice a year and it’s less than $15.00 if that and all it takes is two days. There are so many ways to do natural foods that are good for medicinal purposes😊
That’s what I’ve read, too.
Ok so everything in moderation and you can get all of the clean food cheap at the grocery store just staying on the periphery. Make sure you are getting at least 1gram of protein for every kilogram of your current or best weight per day (divided into three meals). Dont waste money on an expensive detox.
Genesis 9:3
“Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.”
Right if you have working kidneys and liver they are your natural detox system this is hype
She’s very savvy at making money.
I agree.
@beautywithlila She is not selling this. She just talked about something she did.
From the Mayo Clinic: There’s little evidence that dietary cleanses do any of the things they promise. The fact is you don’t need to purchase a product to cleanse your body. Your liver, kidneys and gastrointestinal tract do a good job of detoxing it every day. If you’re looking to rejuvenate your body, focus on eating more whole foods, drinking water and removing highly processed foods from your diet.
@CJ Betcha she’s making money off each one sold. She wouldn’t “pitch” any product for free!
I was beginning to start watching the video but once I saw your comment. I ended the video immediately!
I kept looking for some fine print stating that the $1300 was for an in session group thing. If that’s just for the detox, that’s crazy.
Most people don’t spend that much money to put food on their table, in one month
I wish it will be easy for me. My problem is that I don’t have energy to work out as I did years ago. I tried to cook and sometimes I end up bored of the same food. When I drink a lot of water I feel nausea. I understand that having those shakes and products will make anybody loose Edith and perhaps have some energy, but what about after? I think everybody likes to eat real food in moderation. It looks hard for me to be healthy 😔
$1,300??? Wow!! Very expensive to pay something that is not even real and healthy food.
I’m sad to say I agree that the cost of this detox is ridiculously outrageous. $900 is the total cost after your $400 discount is applied and blows my mind. You aren’t even getting 4 weeks of shakes and vitamins. You are getting only 14 days of shakes and vitamins and the other two weeks
you are eating your own food and during the two weeks you do have their shakes you are still paying for and preparing one healthy meal and two healthy snacks per day. I’m sorry Dominique as I adore you but this is just absolutely nuts. Most women have a husband and children to buy groceries for which aren’t cheap right now. Who can afford this? I know you are an influencer and you have to make money too but these ladies have lost their mind. $300-$400 would be more reasonable for two single shakes a day for 14 days. $10 a shake x 28 shakes = $280. Even $10 a shake is high. Then 4 vitamins per day for 14 days should be $80-$100. And that’s usually for a 30 or 60 or 90 day supply not 14 days. Where the heck did they come up with a crazy number in the thousands. For their time? So out of touch.
Totally agree. Sorry Dominque but I’ m cutting you loose. Totally unrealistic.
@Carol Coates well in her defense the cost is set by the two doctors not her. I know she has been sick lately and I’m sure she did this for health reasons for herself and maybe her mom too and she is an influencer but these two doctors are out of their minds.
I love that thank you Ann
At what point do Influencers realize they compromise their self respect by representing companies so they receive some type of compensation?
In my opinion, I can (and do!) prepare my own healthy foods! To pay for this absurd service and gimmick is absolutely ludicrous!
Pea protein is excellent ❤
@Arizona Susan amen 🙏
Detox diets are silly. I thought they debunked these detox diets years and years ago. Honestly, Dominique.
Listen to Amanda Neighbert RD. I follow her methods of nutrition and “intermittent fasting” and she states that after 12 hours of fasting, say 5pm to 5am, you start burning into fat storage. I’d love to see her on Domoniques show! Would explain much better than I. 🙂
@Melanie Normand It’s called skipping a meal or just plain eating less.
“I am so excited that you are willing to share this with my audience” hahahahahaha Yeah Dominique thank her for this amazing offer! This is pathetic
I’ve done a detox for far less than this one. Mine was with a medical professional. Adding the sweetener and vanilla is a no no with a detox you want to eliminate these additives. The fruit is your natural sweetener.
Gut health is vital to the immune system and after your recent illness and antibiotics you needed a detox.
We all need to be aware of toxins we are exposed to and need to be careful what we put into our bodies. For me I’m not one for Botox, fillers, etc those aren’t good for us.
We can still reap the benefits of a good detox at a more reasonable price.
From the comments I’ve read most followers don’t have this in their budget. It would be great to share a detox plan that’s affordable.
@Nat Sol heyy i get nausea from water sometimes too I don’t know why but when that happens I usually put lemon in it and I can drink it!
@Nat Sol I eat a big green salad everyday-organic arugula, baby spinach, maybe some cut up apple or strawberry or avacado, an organic tomato all mixed in with olive oil and I throw in some cooked chicken. It fills me up. Make surey you are not drinking water thats more than half your body weight. If you weigh 150 then dont drink more than 75 oz of water.
@pagerus Please! She is a grown woman, not a child.
For the exorbitant price of a detox box, one can buy a pantry-full of whole foods (beans, vegetables, fruits, grains); real food without preservatives or artificial sweeteners. Plain water with cayenne, lemon, ginger, turmeric — that’s a good daily drink whether one is “detoxing” or not. If we hydrate every day of the year and eat whole foods with as few perservatives as possible, that makes a substantive difference in our health and energy.
@Joanne what are you even taking about? Go find your better self.
🤣😂
Thank you so much Ann, GOD bless you for this very important information ❤
Ah detox, another way of cleansing the gut, so to speak. People have strong feelings about the efficacy either way, but what I appreciate about the concept is the awareness it instills about what we consume compared to 100 years or more ago. Fresh whole foods vs processed foods from grain, dairy, and sugars. It’s never too late to change/ improve dietary habits to feel better.
Detoxing is a body reset. Don’t sleep on it
I totally agree
Why is everyone being so nasty!!! If she chooses to do this she chooses. This negativity from everyone is just way over the top. She is not making anyone buy this. I think it was nice of her to share it on her channel!!!!
What toxins were in your body? Did you have any medical tests that led you to that conclusion beforehand? While I enjoy a healthy milkshake, adding that much formulated liquid to my diet in a short period and vitamins that are a one size fits all would have me questioning the benefit. The medical community at large recommends a slow and consistent approach-not quick extremes. And secondly, how many companies have tried to create the secret sauce to good health. What struck me were all the good things you’ve been doing without this plan. Nothing scientific or holistic about unproven powders and pills at any price.
@PAMELA LACY No such thing as a body reset.
I couldn’t agree more! Eating clean diet is the key .
@Deb K And eating the best organic food when you DO eat !
I was just going to say the same thing! It’s a 100% money making gimmick!
🙌🙌
@Jennieo H I agree! So many negative people in the comments. If it’s not for you, than skip it. Nobody is making anyone buy this.
Would never do detox and would never pay for a detox box!! Your body naturally cleanses itself on a daily basis. I was a nurse and would never suggest this to anyone.
It’s amazing how many people are fooled into thinking these things are necessary.
I agree about the cost of the detox programme, it’s ridiculous. Did not expect Dominique to promote something so expensive.
Amen!!!
Dominique can afford the creams, serums and cosmetic processes available that many women can’t. At times she loses sight of this.
Dominique, I have enjoyed your videos -your knowledge, your beauty, your mom, etc. I even just got your same haircut because of your styling tutorial so thank you! However, I have to agree with a lot of the comments on here that the hoity-toityness and selling yourself out is pretty apparent these days. It’s sad to watch. I realized about a year ago the products you were promoting were obvious…and you would mention it at times to be transparent…but this is over the top. Please come back down to a relatable level. We miss you.
Touché Helen, well said.
Agreed
What about physicians who recommend and sell this stuff? I have to wonder how they got through med school without an understanding of anatomy and physiology.
Like a clot shot
She’s not in touch with the average person struggles. She has a lot of money, so it’s not expensive for her but for the majority of people it’s too expensive to do.
Couldn’t agree more with Ms. Helen’s entire comment!
The coffee is hard to give up. I may switch to decaf…but what’s the point. Haha
I saw this about her a long time ago. Never understood how the minions were so blind. I check in on her channel sometimes but unsubscribed years ago because of this very thing. She pretends to relate.
@Nat Sol Find an activity that you enjoy that gets you moving. It doesn’t have to be a workout. You get hydration from fruits and vegetables, juice, tea, coffee, soup, lemonade, etc. I hope you’re not following the completely unfounded recommendation to drink eight 8 oz glasses of water each day.
