My spine is stabilized with Harrington rods since 1994
from a hard parachute landing. I also have both knees

I exercise a lot and often tightness from the lower back that spreads to the side muscles under rib cage. Do you recommend these stretches or your hip video stretches ?

Thank you! Lower back was tightening all week due to a lot of driving a works van that doesn’t give me enough legroom. Yesterday I spent my day riding my MTB. This usually “shakes” all the knots out of my back but not this time. I’ve spent most of today wincing with a spasmy lower back. Half an hour after this video I’ve finished the exercises and the back is sorted. It still feels a little sore, fatigue from being in spasm BUT I’m moving freely again. Very effective and will be adopted into my daily stretching routine. Thank you!

I have barely been able to walk for the better part of a week. Hunched over and shuffling while experiencing intense pain.
I tried these exercises yesterday and was once again standing up straight and walking with confidence with minimal pain!

I have watched yourvideos on and off for a while. I find them super useful. This week i have had terrible lower back pain. I did a couple of the exercises last night before bed. Woke up feeling about the same. I then did the tennis ball and soup can (using rolling pin) and I felt better than I have for the last 3 days. I actually feel 50% better if not more. I still feel tight, but not nearly as bad and plan on running through these stretches over the next couple of days. Thanks!

Thank you for this vid! Question- should the glutes/hamstrings be engaged or relaxed during cobra? I’m quite flexible but don’t want to compress lower back when coming up onto hands so just wondering what is safest for the lower back. Do we lengthen when pushing up on hands ie pulling away from lower back? Thanks for any tips 🙂

I liked the part with the ankle ontop of the other leg the side to side moves their amazing for hip pain

1. I without knowing, I was practicing most of the techniques what you have demonstrated. After seeing your video, I felt happy that I am following a correct scientific way.
2. My left knee joint is giving me pain when I put my left leg over my right thigh, in the sitting posture. I was watching eagerly if I could find an answer for my problem.
3. Instead of a tin can, which bursted while I was using, I am using a small plant log of the size of the tin. Which is very useful, as that log surface is with the bark.
