I would start with proper (calorically restricted) keto nutrition profile and add NAD/NMN supplementation — under the old rule you cannot supplement your way exclusively out of a bad diet.

Very interesting presentation with potential for exciting developments to come. I have been doing intermittent fasting for about 9 months now. I have been throwing in 24 hour fasts too from time to time. The amazing thing is that I can do it so easily without ravenous hunger.
It would be very interesting and helpful if you made a video at Walmart and the hot sauces. Which ones you recommended and avoid. If they keto and if a drop of them kicks you out of fasting (I sometimes really hungry and might put a bit in a spoon and eat to trick my brain). The ones most common are Frank’s red hot, Louisiana, Tabasco, sriracha, Buffalo, specially Mexican ones like Valentina, salsa Buffalo, cholula, San Luis. And powdered like tajin. Thanks

I think it would be interesting if the mice were of 2 or 3 ages groups and then compare to see if the older mice derive the same benefits…more or less.

I’ve also noticed subtle changes in my elders eating habits. They are more hungry and have cravings for high carb or junkfood items plus they become gradually less active in their day to day life due to changes in work, use of car etc

I am 63 years old, and 5 feet 11.75 inches tall. I was weighing 195 pounds but I was not muscular. About 20 months ago in March of 2020, I decided to get in shape again and reclaim my life. I did intermittent fasting with my eating window from noon to 5 pm. I walked a few miles every other day and lifted weights. I lost over 30 pounds and my waist went from a tight 36 inches to a loose 32 inches over 5 months. My waist hasn’t been 32 inches since I was in my early 30’s. Just need to not give up. When I went to the doctor for a physical they said my blood pressure and heart rate were perfect. I have had high blood pressure for many years.

I’ve been on a weight loss journey for 11 months and went from 250 lbs to 128 lbs. I struggle so much to reach this weight today. My mom cooks too much fatty food that I’m afraid to eat😅 but I do sometimes in moderation. I tried cooking for myself with less oil , salt, and seasoning. My brother has a problem with me being allowed to cook wat I want. He’s always drinking and making it a regular habit to cuss abt it. I spent most of my savings to buy my cooking ingredients it’s not like I’m taking from my mom everyday. Still it’s a problem for him. It’s stressful sometimes. Loosing weight has always been my desire. Sometimes I wanted to give up but with god by my side I’m pushing through it.
Also I’m struggling because I’m not allowed to go gym, or exercise as I wished. Due to that my body isn’t well toned. I have some loose skin . Even my room is not so spacious to try gain some muscles 😭. They said high protein diet is good for muscles. But as I’m low on budget I normally eat canned tuna, red beans, black eyed beans, egg curry , multigrain/whole wheat roti , vegetable soups sometimes, sweet potatoes, sometimes plantain, multigrain biscuits, green peas. Sometimes carrot , sweet peppers. Sometimes fish curry and rice, some fruits that family eats. I can’t afford chicken breast everyday. Lately I’m trying soya chunks it has high protein.I don’t touch sugar only from fruits. I cut Pepsi I was a big fan of Pepsi everyday 😂. I eat those in repeat . Lots of water😅 Oh last month was first time I had sugar after so many month, an aunt forced me to eat pancake I was tired telling her no🙄. I hate going to relatives home they give so much junk food to eat even if u refuse. I decided to count does as my cheat days. Normally I hate cheat days but I think it’s okay once in a while. Also my desire is to lose 8 more pounds but my relatives always demotivates me saying why am I losing more weight I won’t look good. I will look ugly😓 So yeah it’s always been me alone no one by myself. Well thanks to my dad he helps me sometimes with a few dollars when he sees me need something 😭❤️ No one knows my feelings.
— since my weight loss I’ve been more confident to go outside at shops, market or anywhere, I can talk to any relatives now without hiding. I’m thankful to god to give me the strength and faith that I can do it. My brother is still the main obstacle in my way.

@richard sensky Cancer feeds on glucose. As a matter of fact some of the tests use glucose to highlight tumors on scans. After chemo (destroys your good bacteria) you 100% need to rebuild your gut microbiome with probiotics and probiotic foods. 85 % Of your immune system is in your gut. If you’re doing Keto and you are consuming alkalizing organic greens then you should be fine. Limit dairy unless it’s top quality. Excess dairy increases mucus which can be problematic. I would add organic to the mix if you aren’t already.
