Love watching your reno vlogs !
😄 I get to see what you’ve done before even getting home! Love the green colour. 🥳
You’re doing such an amazing job. The night stand is perfect. Can’t wait to see your magic touch on it. The light fixture looks great 😍
Wow, I love it! It would be cool if the nightstand was some light woody colour, or white like you said. Aaand you could leave just the little shelf green or do some kind of simple design on it with this pretty green colour. I think that would be a nice little touch. Good luck with renovating, everything I saw so far has been very beautiful! 🙂
Its so fun to see it all coming together 🙂 I think a natural wood for the side table would be nice since there aren’t any wood elements in the room yet.
Sand the nightstand & leave it light colored wood. Love what you’re doing. 👍🏻
Love the series! It’s so fun to vote and see it all come together!
Well done Laura … especially since it’s on a tight budget !
I absolutely love it 😭 I’d do a black table to go with th relight xxx
if you were going to paint the wardrobe i’d suggest doing it in the wall colour, not the headboard colour. painting it the wall colour will keep the wardrobe from standing out and will help keep the room feeling larger.
It’s looking amazing already! Thanks for including us in your choices over on Instagram….it’s been fun! Have a lovely weekend x
You are so welcome! I was a bit nervous about it all to start with but it’s been really nice in a way letting go of the choices. 😊
This is def an option – I will probably put it to a poll on instagram so keep an eye out!
Good idea, I’ll have to ask for suggestions on instagram and do some more polls!
Ha thank you! I really was scraping the bottom of the bucket a bit with mixing some of the old paints but it turned out really well 👍
Thank you, it’s been really fun to do actually. Ollie and I always bet on which one will come out on top!
Good idea – I will have to do a poll on paint choices but will include some ‘bare’ options 🙂
Three likes already for this and someone else mentioned it so will def be an option on one of the instagram polls! Thank you!
Great idea!! The sanded and stained looks sounds like the most popular right now.
Thank you so much! Amazon have some really good finds for lights if you dig hard enough – and weirdly most we have had came with a really good screws, plugs etc.
Love these videos! Saw this pop up in my notifications and it reminded me there was one job I needed to do, went and got the materials tonight for 3 projects and did one straight away so thank you 😁
So so impressed with how you two have managed to make this room project feel a bit like ours, very kind and been lots of fun to get involved!! x
@Laura Melhuish-Sprague Yay! I’m so honored haha 🙂
I love watching your house transformation videos Laura 🙂 Such a tonic at the end of a very long work week! Well done on the green, and can’t wait for the finished room! I know it’ll be gorgeous like the rest of your home 🙂
I like the little side table and I love that shade of green 🍃 cant wait for the next part 😃
Looking great so far! I think if it were me, I’d pick a 2 door wardrobe and then potentially have space for an occasional chair which you could style with a cushion featuring the headboard colour – and paint the wardrobe same as the walls x
I have seen on Instagram that some people paint a small bedside table in the same accent colour as the wall ! So in your case you could make it Green as well. I thing it was @elbgestoeber
I’m living vicariously through your videos, you’re doing such a great job and are going to have such a lovely space by the end of it ☺️
Painting the bedside table black would be an amazing contrast and might tie in nicely with the light!
I cant wait to see you style this room! Your eye for decorating is amazing! Love the green already! And i agree with the other commenters sand the side table and leave it the raw wood colour! And I would leave the wardrobes a lighter colour to keep the space open!
How did you attach the wood to the frame? Nails? Screws? Love your renovations, you’ve given me confidence to do my diy in my house! X
