WHAT ARE OVERALL VS RELEASE TESTOSTERONE LEVELS?
98% of the body's testosterone is bound to either sex-hormone binding globulin (SHBG), or Albumin (a blood protein). The various other 2% is known as "free testosterone." The cost-free testosterone is what contributes to cell duplication in the bones as well as muscle mass and also produces face hair as well as a deeper voice with puberty. Total testosterone is the grand overall of all the hormonal agent available in the blood stream (bound and free).
HOW TO BOOST FREE TESTOSTERONE LEVELS?
There are two means to improve complimentary testosterone degrees.
1. Boost your overall testosterone level with exercise or supplements.
2. Decreasing bound testosterone. Vitamin D and Boron are thought to lower this.
IS YOUR TESTOSTERONE LEVEL AS WELL LOW?
To establish if the testosterone degree is low for you, a number of variables have to be taken into consideration – eg your present signs, your age, other chronic conditions medications you take.
Low testosterone can be brought on by:.
* Diseases of the Pituitary gland,.
* Opiate medications.
* Issues with the testes.
* Chronic clinical conditions, specifically excessive weight, rest apnoea, diabetic issues, and liver or kidney condition.
HOW DOES TESTOSTERONE AFFECT ERECTIONS?
Erections depend upon testosterone, but we don't fully recognize this connection.
Some guys have healthy erections in spite of testosterone levels being well below the typical range. What we do understand is that the very same reasons for reduced testosterone are connected to the exact same conditions that play a role in impotence – such as diabetes mellitus, excessive weight as well as cardiovascular disease.

Thanks so much for watching! If you have a topic you want me to make a video on, please share it in the comments below π
Thank you Dr. Sam Bailey, I found this video very educational and informative. Speaking as an impotent man I would be interested in looking into this as a possible cure/aid to my impotence.
Out of interest is it normal to have a low testosterone level at late 20’s / early 30’s period?
Thank you once again Dr. Sam Bailey
Hi there, thanks for your comments π
Your testosterone level should be relatively high in your late 20s/early 30s. The reference range for the testosterone tests will take your age into account however. If you have low levels (but are in the normal range), I would not be concerned about this. However, if it is below the normal range I would talk to your doctor further about having more tests, to determine why.
@Dr. Sam Bailey Thank you for your kind reply π
For the record I am 31 years old, and started suffering from erectile dysfunction when I was 24, though at first it was more mild and occasional, while now I am completely impotent and unable to get erections.
Medically I am Type 2 diabetic and take no medication, other than diet and fitness. I have hypertension and take Ramipril for that, I also take Propranolol on occasions to help with my anxiety.
I have had various blood tests inc testosterone, and while I believe its lower than average I am not fully sure if this is the case or what my levels are?
Also not sure if its related to impotence or testosterone production, but I do have a much smaller than average penis and possibly testicles?
Thanks once again Dr. Sam Bailey π
Hi there, I’d see your doctor to have a full panel of bloods done to work out what is going on. You should have normal erectile function at your age, especially since you have well controlled diabetes and high blood pressure – I think there is something else going on. Sometimes it can be related to betablockers – I’m not sure if it coincides with taking Propranolol?
Ok madam i well
Psychological causes to be considered for ED. Most of the time ED creeps in from sixth decade. Most of the time these men have no issues with a new partner. So basically they are too bored with same old partner . New partner really helps ED in certain percentage of the cases.
Bonjour Docteur, I think I could have a subject for a video, in the off chance you need one. My mum has been interested in natural remedies for decades and she gave me a few things over the years. One of these is magnesium chloride. It’s something a french doctor studied on his patients some 100 years ago, for its ability to heal wounds. Quickly his staff noticed it would give them energy and they were all taking it. The story of Dr Delbert can be read in french but I don’t know if there is anything in english. Anyway, I started taking it, because at 50+ my sleep was sometimes uneven. It’s a very cheap product, Nigari salt, from Japan I think. What I wanted to say, is that it seems like it has this funny side effect I could notice in the morning. Yes, that one. Not that I complain about it. A few years ago, I would have added that it is strange that such a product is still virtually unknown, for it may have very interesting properties against a log of very serious conditions, yes, the big league ones, but today, the corona circus has shed some light on the medical establishment and even more on the scientific community at large, and the picture is not pretty. Anyway, some day, some one, will read this and act on it, and that could be his lucky day. Good night !
I could write a book on this subject, wait I am doing that. You made one state many about prostate cancer. I had that back in 2005 and ED followed and I found only two ways around that. Shots and implant. Still, have you done any study on the ratio between male hormones and female hormones that might lead to ED and or prostate cancer?
Dr. Sam Bailey the only person who should talk about testosterone is Dr Sam Robbins. Once one hears his thundering voice, their testosterone levels shoot up.
I would like to know about sleeping tablets that help me go to sleep but dont zonk me out the next day.
I have low T and ED. Iβve always been concerned about medications and the prostate. I also have an enlarged prostate. Should I be concerned about any correlation? Thanks! Love your channel. Very helpful.
Hello Dr. Sam. My question is about prostate enlargment. Is it better to take a long life medication such as Tamsulosine and Dutasteride or just have it operated. What could be the bad effects of such medications. Thank you so much and keep your videos coming!
Thank you, Dr. Sam! I’m inclined to believe you over many American doctors, who seem to be in bed with Big Pharma here. I feel that your information is more honest and not tainted by the ‘need’ to push drugs on patients.
shehabudheen as yeh at least you ain’t been distracted, on point, thumb up
Thank you doctor, watching you has just elevated my testosterone level, clearly no ED!
Haha, excellent
Hi Dr. Sam, every video you post is useful information and education. I’m so happy I found your channel, and am forever subscribed. Thank you for making a difference in my life. Regards, ~ Steve
I take testosterone gel due to various ailments.
It helps with the get up and go but the only draw back I find is that it makes one a tad edgy if that’s the right word.
Thank you Dr Sam, lovely as always.
Dr. Very interesting and educational videos.
I wonder if you could talk about male adult back acne and what to do to clear from it ,but also what to do with the dark spot left on your back.
Thank you so much
Dan
Dear Sam, you make wonderful useful videos, explaining everything brilliantly. Could you also put timestamps in, to the highlights in case one needs to refer to the main bits later. Thanks.
Hi Sam, please keep up your great work as you are great in giving the facts.
82 years old here and have had free testosterone levels of over 1100 since I was in my 40s. I also have ED and have had for many years. Injections solve the problem but they are no fun. Have asked many doctors but none can help me figure out why my testosterone level would be so extremely high. Otherwise in great health.
