The old claiming "you are what you eat" is true: the food we eat provides us the fuel as well as the building blocks we need to be healthy, remain active as well as feel great.
Study shows that what you consume has an extensive impact on your general health and wellness– including your capability to cope with arthritis. At the same time, the way you come close to food as well as cooking can make it easier or harder to stick to a healthy and balanced diet regimen.
In these Joint inflammation Guidance videos, signed up dietitian Kim Arrey goes through guidelines for healthy consuming that can help you far better manage your arthritis, and some pointers for just how to approach meal preparation as well as food preparation to suit arthritis constraints.

Great video. You say what to eat, any chance of a video about suggestions for meals? Dishes to make?
glad you like it. We do have some recipes already in the works, so keep an eye out for those in the coming months. In the meantime, a quick Google search for “Mediterranean Diet recipes” can turn up a ton of great suggestions for you and your family to explore. Happy cooking!

Not every one is rich enough to have a physician or a registered dietitian
K2 vitamin draws calcium from the blood and sends it to the bones vegetables like bok choy have small amounts of K2 , low carb keto diet reduces inflammation cutting sugar reduces inflammation eating excessive amounts of common foods like eggs and spinach also effect joints, I’m trying very hard to cure my own arthritis problems and I’m finding out it’s not a quick fix
you need red meat just don’t eat a lot, we need to reduce inflammation by diet but without depriving the body of essential building blocks, keto diet seems to be the way for us
@Jeff Murphy Hey….im suffering with severe RA since past 7 years….can u plz suggest me how did u get rid of this disease ??
@Jeff Murphy lol he must be jesus then
HEALTHY EATING IS CHEAPER THAN DYING…. ‘CAUSE IT WON’T COST YOUR LIFE!πππ BUT CORRECTION: YOU MUST AVOID THE HIGHLY INFLAMMATORY OMEGA6 FATS BECAUSE INFLAMMATION IS THE MAIN REASON OF ARTHRITIS !!! SATURATED FATS ARE NOT YOUR ENEMY!!!! BUTTER, COCONUT OIL AND OLIVE OIL ARE NOT CAUSING INFLAMMATION!!!!π
I canβt eat a lot of roughage I got collitis. Am I suppose to starve?π³
Tomatoes r the worst I heard!!
Noooo CORN is sooo sooo very bad for us ππππ
@manual grech 20 is wayyyyy tooo much lol 1 a day is more than enough in my opinion
Banana’s and tomatoes are high in histamine and an overload of histamine increases inflammation.
MG, you’re absolutely right. Not only is it NOT a quick fix, there is no “fix” per se. I have to work at it every single day. If I get weak and have a bag of Doritos (my fav), my arthritis flares. Any junk or processed foods I eat from bags, boxes or cans may have negative consequences for me. Whole foods are always best. Being over weight, mental stress or not enough exercise or sleep will also add to my difficulties. Best wishes.
@Life with Jimmy It probably depends alot on what you do with eggs. Frying them in bacon grease or mixing them with mayo can have negative consequences for people with arthritis. I like to hard boil eggs and eat them sparingly (2-3x a week) in salads or sliced on toast with fresh tomato and avocado on top. Twenty eggs a week is excessive. One or two eggs every other day is probably okay depending on the dietary constraints of the person eating them.
You should get with a licensed DIETICIAN who can create a healthy, low inflammation diet for you and coach you about how someone in your circumstances should eat for maximum best results.
@Mary Ann it’s hard isn’t it food was my passion now it seems to be my enemy
Not tomatoes, the seeds in tomatoes. I scoop them out. I also scoop out the seeds in cucumbers, squash, etc. Just as you wouldn’t eat apple and orange seeds or pits, don’t eat seeds or pits in other fruits and veggies. The seeds and pits are where the trouble lies.
@Mary Ann thank u so much!!! I never knew that!! Youβve helped me from making that rookie mistake again!!π€·π»ββοΈπ§πβ€οΈ
Seem to be a very inflammatory high carb diet.
@Life with Jimmy You’re very welcome. Enjoy!
@Mary Ann πβ€οΈπ
@manual grech no you do not need red meat
FFS eating bananas and tomatoes wonβt hurt you
Itβs a Canadian video. Socialized medicine for everyone, yes everyone is rich enough in canada. Sorry your country hasnβt implemented this human right yet.
@manual grech π
Fruits and acid foods make my arthritis worse.
