I do this now for 2 months and I feel clearly the difference! Also it takes away the hunger if you are not used to eat breakfast, so you don’t have a growling stumach ’till lunchtime. I agree it has a bad tast, but it is worth taking if you feel the benefits of it. I drink it with a straw, that is better to protect your teeth against the acid and also you can drink it faster. Also drink a half glass of plain water after this, to rinse your mouth and teeth from the acid left in it.

It may sound weird but I love a similar mixture as a kind of syrup mixed with mineral water since I was 30. And I discovered an even better version called Oxymel recently. The vinegar-honey drink is so delicious, you just have to avoid to breathe when drinking because the vinegar may have a bit of a stench, but hold your breath while drinking for a second and close your eyes… the drink tastes like a fresh sour lemonade. I am on a journey to lose 45 lbs this year (2021) along with that inner tube around my 50-something waistline. I started drinking this today and I am currently enjoying the evening mock-tail after completing the 30 minute walk with weights and chair abs. I also add ginger and turmeric to mine… I use 1/2 cup filter water and 1/2 cup of aloe Vera juice… and use basically everyone else you described. I hear it up and drink it like hot tea… I love it. I often add a dash of cayenne pepper, too!

Hi, Schellea! I love the idea of putting cinnamon and lemon with the ACV. I tried it, and I like it very much (I dilute mine in a tall glass of water). Thank-you! ♥ One thing you didn’t mention is to not use “regular” cassia cinnamon if you intend on putting it in your drink everyday. Cassia cinnamon contains coumarin, a naturally occurring chemical that can be harmful with prolonged intake. Ceylon cinnamon would be a better option because it contains only a tiny amount of the coumarin. Ceylon cinnamon tastes just like regular cinnamon, but has a milder, sweeter taste. It can be used in any recipes that call for cinnamon.
Hi..Im using organic Saigon cinnamon..do you know if its similar to Ceylon?
Just a comment when using cinnamon, it’s best to use organic Ceylon cinnamon and not the Cassia variety which is commonly found in grocery stores. Cassia cinnamon in high doses can cause liver problems due to the high content of coumarin found in it. Ceylon cinnamon has very low levels of coumarin so would be much safer for this drink , which is yummy by the way !

Oh Shellea – I’m SO glad you Posted this! I HAD made the mistake of diluting it in a pint of water and then having to struggle through the whole thing! Your method makes it really okay, like drinking a herbal tea.
I was told about ACV about 35yrs ago by an older coworker who as a teenager had an afterschool job at the old country doctors office in rural Indiana. The Docotor recommended it to all of his patients. His recipe was to stir in a teaspoon of honey (preferably local honey) to about 5oz of warm water, let the honey disovle and then sip it before bedtime. I’ve been doing this off and on for the last 35 years and I can tell a great difference in my health when I go without it for too long. Cheers everyone!

I’ve been starting my day with warm water, lemon and ACV for years now ( no honey in the morning for me as it breaks my IF) I only recently started to add the cinnamon and I love it. I will try adding it to the other two meals during the day as well, one thing my dentist told me years to go, was to always drink ACV diluted, brush your teeth BEFORE drinking it to protect your enamel and to always drink it through a straw to also protect your enamel. ACV and lemon are great and breaking down visceral fat as well and so good for your liver. Thanks for this informative post.
Sounds good! When taking Turmeric… I’ve read don’t forget to add 1/8 to 1/4 of black pepper. Turmeric needs it to work so we get the most benefit from it. Hope best of health to you and all!
P.S.- Using organic & LOCAL honey helps with seasonal allergies. I have been taking bee pollen for many years & it works FANTASTIC!

I have been drinking ACV for a while now! I was using grapefruit juice and 2 tbsps ACV plus 1 tsp of honey, it helped me lose weight, got my bowels moving and just made me have more energy throat the day!

Are you using Ceylon Cinnamon, or the darker cassia “cinnamon” which has toxins in it ? From Healthline: Cassia cinnamon contains high amounts of coumarin, which can cause liver toxicity and damage if consumed in high amounts.
If you’re taking medications that may affect your liver, such as paracetamol, acetaminophen, and statins, excessive intake of cinnamon may increase the chance of liver damage.
Also, cinnamon may help lower your blood sugar, so if you’re taking medications for diabetes, the spice may enhance their effects and cause your blood sugar to fall too low.

@Clarita De Luna Buy an electric toothbrush and then brush your teeth with baking soda! My bottom teeth were stained grayish. The electric toothbrush and baking soda cleaned off the stain! ( An electric toothbrush is more effective overall for getting your teeth really clean…says my dentist, who doesn’t sell them so he doesn’t say that to make money off you.) And if you don’t like the taste of baking soda, you’ll soon get used to it. I hope this works for you.
