Dr. Ekberg, please continue to do what you do. You are positively touch many, many lives.
Dr. Nicholas Harper, D.C.
Doc, thanks for your contributions to our health. Sorry to ask for some basics, I’m a runner in the mornings and play tennis evenings 3 times a week, 59 yo male, how do you suggest to determine my macros? Which of your videos should I focus? Looking to loose some weight too but maintain perfomance.
Dear Doctor has taught me more about genetics in 29 minutes than I learned in one semester in secondary school 😁
Yeah… some people don’t learn at school and get superficial, simplified information from youtube videos 😐
You are a great teacher! There was some scientific terminology which I would have to look up, but I think that by repeating the video I will finally understand that difficult part. Keep up the good work. I will be around more often than before.
Amazing! I’ve been living according to the suggestions regarding emotional and physical stress presented by this man. I don’t know how I figured it out but I’m 75 and still cycle, jog and split wood. I have no medical issues except a few food allergies.
It’s refreshing to see more doctors talk about the power we have over the aging process. Thank you for spreading the message. I hope more people start considering aging as a chronic disease that we can improve and eventually cure so that we can get more funding to solve the issue faster. I love your channel!
When I was a young student nurse, I was training under a very experienced middle aged nurse. One day, I was feeling pity for an elderly patient and said ” who on earth wants to live to be 100?” ” Somebody who is 99″ she said with annoyance at my stupidity.
I decided to support this channel because the effort put to help people by dedicating time in educating people should not go unnoticed. Your patience and the way you transmit clearly and detailed your knowledge and experience in the subjet is admirable. You channel has helped me so much there is no way to thank you enough.
Dr. you’re fantastic! I have read Dr. David Sinclair’s book and have trouble even to understand. This is a very complex subject and yet you could explain it so clearly with illustrations and animations! To say that you’re talented is a gross understatement! Thanks very much once again!! 😎❤️👍👍👍
I read a book “Life span – why we age and why we don’t have to” which also talks about similar things as you said. Great stuff!
Thank you for the scholarly biological step by step process. Stem cell research and epigenetics are among my favorite areas of research. ❤
This is a true story. My father moved into a nursing home at 90. The first thing he said to me, disgustingly, was “this place is for old people!”
@Dr. Sten Ekberg Your channel has changed my life!! Can’t thank you enough.

Last year during a family vacation, I spent 4 weeks in a rural town. I ate very little most of the time but especially the last few weeks, 1-2 times a day but small healthy portions. No fast food, junk food, or pastries. I had no internet so I didn’t use my phone much (only photos). I went to sleep very early (right after sunset) and woke up early with the crowing roosters. It was pretty boring Lol Even my daughters noticed I looked younger, my eyes looked brighter, healthier, less sunken and my face wasn’t a bit saggy. My tummy wasn’t big or bloated. Stress, too much food and sugar, over using devices, not sleeping adequately definitely takes a toll on your health and overall appearance.
You’ve made learning science more personalized to all of us! I come to your channel trying to look for specific topics but I take more than what I intend to get! And it’s really amazing how you can explain all these so clearly and so easy to understand and absorb 🤯🤯
Thank you! Great info! Also I would like to say not allowing your body to always be comfortable is anti aging too. Like allowing yourself to get cold and skipping meals from time to time, (IF). Short bursts of running for a few seconds everyday also keeps the body a little younger. (You pretty much covered all that, but it’s worth repeating lol)
Hae Dr Sten Ekberg, one day, just visit me in Kenya and give live lectures to the people here so that they may understand this.
Am seeing a transformation in my life ever since I started listening to your presentations.
My Type 2 diabetes is showing signs of reversing.😊
I also have to say lots of thank you to the channel 💓 I’ve sleeping with your vide every night and help me to understand the body sisztem of it.
Dr Eckberg, you are the most intelligent and knowledgeable practitioner I have ever listened to. I don’t understand why you aren’t all over social media and have millions of subscribers as you very well deserve it. Thank you so much for taking your time to prepare these lectures.

@Janice Carey Alright…sure, if you say so.
Truman Green, keep it going! And when you turn 100 write a follow up!
@udon kev great for your dad! Follow his example.
@Carol Milligan Good for you!
that’s a fair question, not everyone wants to live to 100.
Than you may consider yourself a very lucky person because, there are few people who live a long life without getting deseases… Of course we can do a lot to prevend gettiing ill, for sure however, when you start with a strong and healthy body you are already VERY LUCKY!! .. Not only your life style but also your gens and dna do count in living a better life without worries!! Look at the children who have been already confronted with cancer or tumors, who have to fight foe for their survival !! Look at the people with musle illnesses, who have to live in a wheelerchair their whole live through!!! I know myself how it is, to have to fight to feel more or less “good” in my life.. So, it is a real gift if you have a strong and healthy body, to begin with…. I do hope you thank first of all GOD for your splendid health, next to this (very nice) dr….
@Kate-o if I stay healthy, yes. But if I become bedridden then no.
but we don’t (have any power over aging) 🙂
@Ilia there is a ton of research proving otherwise.
@Dr. Sarah Zaldivar please, let’s stay real… We ain’t forever in this world.
@Ilia did you literally not read what I just said? Start with this: read Harvard’s Dr. David Sinclair books then come back here with a slightly more educated opinion. Why embarrass yourself this way?
@Dr. Sarah Zaldivar 😅
@Here Kitty Kitty genetics is not more than given credit. It;s more than you think it’s given :). You are cute. Common people talking about science is a spectacle. But i have a question: how do you have time writing this but find not time to improve your info about this topic?…mmm?… 🙂 Love .
@Janice Carey Good lord- so you’re seriously upset that this nurse didn’t use your preferred semantic expression? Or are you one of those people that just really enjoys correcting others. I think I know the answer.
Good grief everyone! I simply made a comment on how I felt about what a nurse said. And out come the trolls telling me that I am wrong (this was an just opinion here people) and judging me and informing me of me personality defects! I simply wanted others to know that not “everyone ” wants to live to be 100. How can you argue with that ? What happened to civilized conversations and people being able to voice their opinions without name calling! Lots of people’s parents must have missed the mark when it came to manners and common decency.
You are a blessing to humanity Dr. Sten. You are, by far, the best teacher I have seen in my 37 years alive. I have an insatiable hunger for knowledge and no one else seems to be able to explain such complex topics in such a clear and easily understood way. Thank you so much for such well researched and accurate health information that we can all understand and integrate into our lives. 🙏
I joined the channel and support your efforts as well. I’m solidly on a keto diet now, doing 18:6 IF and doing some HIIT along with my vigorous hikes through the neighborhood hills and it’s amazing, and your videos are a big part of helping me understand what’s going on and knowing some of the pitfalls and tips for making it a better journey. So appreciated. I appreciate how conscientious you are, well measured, factual, crisp and great at explaining things. You do the research that makes tough to find information readily accessible and useful.
I am learning a tremendous amount. Your information gives me hope that some of my health is “really” (not just theoretically) in my hands. The HFLC approach, with it’s built-in hunger control, reinforces my commitment to continue. The scientific knowledge you present so excellently gives me the confidence that I am not being foolish. Thank you.
Hey from Scandinavia! I really like your videos and have used them as a guidance in fasting and nutrition. I lost almost 50 pounds with keto diet but at that point I wasn’t mature enough to understand the real reasons behind the weight loss and therefore just got back to my bad lifestyle. Now I’m trying to get a more lifelong change to happen. One thing that has really caught my eye in your videos is that in the older videos like from the 2018 your skin seems to be in worse shape than in the later videos. Have you noticed that or do you have any explanation or change in your own diet or lifestyle that has made your skin look better/younger? You might have covered this already in some video but I haven’t yet seen it.
