You definitely can get cellulite also in the stomach/ tummy – I have it myself and even a male friend of mine has it. In the arms people do have it as well (I’ve seen many overweight people with fatty arms that have dents in them, or elderly people who don’t have much collagen left in their tissue). However, I love your videos – they are very informative. Thank you!

Easy to understand, and absolutely ties together/explains everything I’ve experienced thus far in my own body (having high estrogen, muscle loss, etc) and/or the observance of others (a friend who lost all her cellulite over a year or two of using an infrared sauna for other reasons, etc).
This is so helpful! I do CrossFit & even while I was pregnant (scaled of course) but I’m almost 2 years postpartum and I think my cellulite is really bad due to not getting sleep with the baby. That’s been the major difference!

There def needs to be more emphasis and videos on how infrared combats cellulite. I put two and two together and came across this by accident, being a Dr Berg and keto fan. And that’s exactly what he recommends.

I have skinny arms (no fat) and yet on my biceps I have cellulite.
I really notice it if I pull my skin tightly, I get the lumpy cottage cheese look. It’s mild but it is there.
When he said you can’t get it in your arms I Googled it really quick and Mayo Clinic said “Cellulite is most common around the thighs and buttocks, but it can also be found on the breasts, lower abdomen and upper arms.”
Not sure how I got it since I don’t have fat around the arms but going to start making some lifestyle changes.
I love your videos! I have lost ten lbs in about 2 weeks with intermittent fasting. I like to say though that my step children have always struggled with their weight and both, male and female, have cellulite on their stomachs.
@Christina Good not the original commenter, but for me, the symptom of premature ovarian failure was that I stopped having periods in my 30’s. If you go through menopause before 40, that is how you are diagnosed. At least that’s what happened to me. There can be different causes (toxins, cancer treatments, stress, viruses), but my cause was a genetic condition. Usually, doctors just treat it by having the patient use HRT until the age of normal menopause (about 52). It doesn’t make you have a period again, but some doctors think it helps protect the heart.
I hope that helps! I like to spread information about it—I thankfully had my kids young, but it can be extremely traumatic for women who thought they still had time to have children but go through menopause young before that can happen.
12 years ago, I was overweight and had cellulite. I went vegan and have been since but didn’t lose the cellulite until 3-4 years into being vegan and riding my bicycle to and from work (about 14 miles a day, 3-5 times a week) and I definitely noticed it disappear after that. I also learned about lymphatic massaging and applied that as well. Appreciate your videos! They are so helpful!

@Angie Robshaw i’ve always had it as well and interestingly enough, most of the women on my maternal side (my mom, grandmother, even my aunts and great aunts/grandmother’s sisters) all have it just above the belly button. I’m avg size now (size 10) but I’ve been much thinner in my life and it’s been there since puberty. Lymphatic massage treatment did reduce the appearance but it reappeared so often that it didn’t feel worth the expense of the treatments!
I got down to 89 lbs at my lowest when I was 34 years old and still had plenty of cellulite 😩 I am skinny fat but doing plenty of weight training, HIIT, and refeeding weekly. The fat disappeared mostly but the layer of cellulite fat on top stays😂 thanks for this video, it gives me hope now.

Thanks Dr Berg for the informative video. In relation to the hormonal cause of cellulite – do you think drinking a lot of coffee might cause cortisol increase and affect cellulite this way? I ‘ve always drunk 2-3 cups a day and had a lot of desserts when I was younger , so I have cellulite from teenage years although I have always been skinny : )
