Great exercises for those of us with low back pain.
I really like your channel and follow. During your exercises you mentioned that “ make sure your knees do not pass your toes during lounges” but is there any scientific evidence that supports that statement? Because different people have different limb length and body mechanic. It is similar to squatting technique for different height. Some people bend forward with posterior pelvic tilt more than others .
I would appreciate if you respond to my question.

Vee G that is a really good question!! Sadly I don’t think Bob and Brad answer YouTube comments :/. But I think it makes sense because if your knees pass your toes then you’re probably leaning forward or not engaging your muscles right to keep your butt back. If that’s the case then there would be more pressure on your knees rather than having centered balance/pressure and the knees are pretty sensitive since they’re just a floating cap and connective tissue. I’m not really sure, but I think it’s interesting and will probably look into one day. For now I just typed in “knees past toes” in Google Scholar and found something that mentions it https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&q=knees+past+toes&oq=knees+past+#d=gs_qabs&u=%23p%3DSFYTmi9MI2cJ
I’m not really sure what it mentions exactly lol but I figured it could be a jumping off point for you in your research. You can do your own search or look at the references used for this linked article, or maybe the article actually answers your question.
