What gets me is all the wasted food on these channels when they show them how much they eat
It’s hard to watch how her children are copying their mum’s eating disorder. 🙁
It’s stressing me out that the food that they’re trying to taste has no sauce or seasoning, no wonder it’s so bland and manky
Someone is trying really hard to get the grilled cheese achievement in our SIMS world
I am proud of all of these people who are facing their food phobias to change themselves and be healthier. I am especially proud of this woman for the amazing progress that she made from only eating cheese and crackers, to eating 3 mouthfulls of spaghetti, and tomatoes, and the spicy fejitas. Good job!
She cried more over the thought of eating a banana than the pain it is causing her own children?
This won’t happen in an asian household. You either eat what mom cooks or you don’t eat at all.
“His homecooked specialities.” Overcooked pasta with tomato sauce sticking to a pan. 😂😂
I always cringe when people kiss their parents on the mouth…
Kate: ew I’m not eating this!
Chef: (puts 🧀 on it)
Kate: this is some serious gourmet s**t
“I find it very difficult to taste anything that has sauce on top of it”
“Eats gravy“
her daughters really annoyed me i’m sorry the younger one was so ungrateful and rude
Am I the only one that thinks she isn’t gagging just being dramatic asf?😂
I feel really bad for her husband 🙁 he said hes sad because nobody will eat his cooking
This lady made serious improvements to her diet and mental health. And even set a good example for her daughters. People can change.
She’s a perfect example of body size not being indicative of health & diet.
@birdie 💙💎 ikr it taste good with soy sauce
Lmao
I’m less concerned with the family’s eating habits and more with the daughter referring to stuff as “ethnic” and “foreign” in a derogatory sense. If I said something like that as a kid my parents would have been rightly mortified.
@birdie 💙💎 my boy u have great taste
Thank you for the positive comment in this list!
Yess, we need more positive comments like this!!
Noooo you didn’t 😂😂😂
XD Yaaasssss!!!! You totally went there!!
@Fluffer Pupper I love it raw!
They’re white & British, did you expect lots of seasoning?😭😭
Bananas are bad luck
Should be illegal
@CypherYoongi🤧 what does that have to do with anything … it’s literally a part of the therapy to handle one taste bland at a time
@yuna there’s not gonna be much seasoning, have you tasted most white peoples food? And they’re British, I mean exactly what I said😭, and clearly the “one thing at a time” thing isn’t working, seeing as most patients don’t recover, next.
I agree!! People don’t realize how difficult these eating issues are. It’s not easy as people think it is. It’s hard to understand if someone never has had have eating issues or an eating disorder. But facing eating issues is difficult but I’m so proud of anyone working through those issues, trying to get better.
@C.R exactly ^
Not even cheese can save that.
FACTTTS
Lol
@Ola rose bro it’s not sexist, women are just better at cooking. If your girl is not good at cooking, then you cook. There is no reason for this dude to cook and work long hours
Trueee😭
@eggegg ARFID is an eating disorder and I think that’s what she has. But that doesn’t make it ok to do that around her very impressionable children.
It didn’t seem fake to me, it seemed like mental illness. Please be compassionate for people who are struggling.
*FAJITAS *MOUTHFULS
I mean she did say it “was the exception so it goes against everything”
the uk is a sad place for food. also idk why they were forcing her to eat bananas when not liking the texture of a banana is completely normal… there’s other better fruits like mangos and pineapples even strawberries
Best comment 😂😂😂lol
@Elena Fiderio wait until you see the m&s Frozen lasagna
Stop judging her
@Martina Galanti 🤭
@Lady Karen
Im a poc but call different foods foriegn cuz guess what? It is
@wellofcire wtf you got against pot, weed is great.
@BisexualFrenchFry always get your weed-ies….mainly i just was sick of hearing about it, at that/whichever point in time………………………….
Exactly what I was thinking 🤔 so wasteful.
I’ve been binge-watching this show. It is amazing to me how many parents don’t make their kids eat many different foods. That is literally part of raising your child to be a functional adult.
Travel a bit
It looked like they were married
Yaaa,,,why not dooonaaate it to the foood baaank,, regaardless if its duuumped on the flooor !!!!!!!!!
@Duvdev bro u should not have said that, now u got those emo girls tryna argue with u 😂
food that isn’t from their country is foreign, lmfao. You must be an american if you’re getting upset over that
@El.S My family came from Italy. I cannot STAND ITALIAN FOOD AND NEVER HAVE I EAT ONLY Baked Potatoes with different toppings. Blue cheese,; chili or broccoli and cheese. Tomato sauce with parmesan cheese smells like vomit and dirty feet
What I find interesting is that they never bring up taste aversions. Our biology basically made it so that when we eat something and get sick, it creates such a strong connection in our brain to never ever touch it again, because back when we foraged this could mean you were eating something poisonous or rotten that could kill you. So taste aversions are incredibly difficult to overcome because half of it is simply your body acting for you in a way that you can’t control. I personsllt
Remember how I used to enjoy this one pasta dish with cooked red bell peppers, until one time I got sick after eating it and now even the smell of it makes me nauseous beyond belief and I can’t handle the thought of it even though I ate it plenty times before even
@caroline montgomery everybody loves pasta
@eggegg you are aware arfid exists right? that’s an eating disorder too bestie
someone’s parents didn’t love them in these replies
At the beginning I thought this was an ad
and they dont have a problem throwing food in the garbage, that is what i hate! there are people starving and have nothing to eat.
Better than just eating cheese.
I’m the same with omlettes, one case of sickness after eating one and bam! Can’t even think about it without gagging
@C.R I don’t think most people understand texture and taste aversion as well. Nobody in these comments has ever literally gagged because of a food? Ok well if not, I just don’t see the point in judging a woman who is still trying regardless of it.
@Izzy Martinez So you watched this whole thing and decided that she doesn’t want to try and wasn’t even trying??? I must’ve missed that every time she tried and successfully ate something she wasn’t used to or into.
💀🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same for a West Indian household
I grew up like that, just normal for me
Exactly it’s crazy to me that parents don’t feed there kids a variety of foods!
@Robert Barajas I know, I’m late to the question, but “minging” or “mingin'” basically means gross or unpleasant, usually due to the perceived quality of something or dirtiness of it.
Or Mac and cheese
too bad soo sad cry about it
too bad
@Nikko Paez Bananas are radioactive, which is bad luck on a nuclear level.
I think you mean an abusive household regardless of whatever fucking point you’re trying to make
Yes i had this with macaroni and cheese.
So true. Sad and very self absorbed
She said that meal is the only meal when she eats something different. But it’s really not different because she eats that same exact meal every sunday with her family for years. But it only makes up for one meal a week that isn’t all about cheese.😬 to me this seems like o.c.d.
Exactly lol
@ActingInProgress cardboard huh…are you putting anything on your pasta or??? lmao
Same thing in a Brazilian house 🏡….
That’s how it was in our house. In the u.s! I was a picky eater ngl but not to the point of gagging or throwing a tantrum.
I know it’s really embarrassing
I’m not Asian I’m America and that’s the way my parents raised us if you don’t eat you don’t get nothing and at dinner time if you didn’t eat your dinner you would sit there until it was gone
This lady has got such a wonderful smile. I’m so glad that she was able to conquer her food fears. I hope she still is.
I say we all go over there and eat his cooking <3 I love to eat
I thought the same thing
This woman is delusional
Yeah! This is how I am with jello, I threw it up and now can’t even handle thinking about it
I just got to that part and paused to come to the comments to see if anyone else picked up on that. Outrageous
Yeah! I can understand that! I love bacon, and one day, I ate a lot of it when I had breakfast for supper at my sister’s friend’s house one night! I got ill that night, and threw it up! I can still eat bacon, but I don’t like it as much as I used to! XD
i think its the same for everyone and the ppl
who let their kids eat only junk are terrible parents
@Lady And thats makes it okay???
Her mom’s fault
@M3RedGT I worked in animal agriculture my whole life, as well as being a liscened esthetician for 3 years. Dairy itself is an inflamitory. Adults arent supposed to have milk, especially not that of another species. Its completely unnatural for any animal’s body. Other changes in your diet are likely the cause, rather than the type of dairy.
@Tea S Dairy itself can’t be an inflammatory because “dairy” is not a substance but a cocktail of a bunch of different substances. You gotta define which of those substances is the inflammatory or if you believe it’s a combination which causes inflammation.. which exactly.
Also dietitions and doctors told me going keto won’t help me lose weight and will increase my cholesterol and stuff.. guess what.. i lost 25lbs, my skin cleared up, my cholesterol went down and my bloodsugar is pretty much rock stable.
So i don’t trust their advice about that because they go on the old “diet pyramid” and “facts” about diet of 1980 around which have been scientifically debunked since pretty much back then but certain single scientists and the industry.. especially the sugar industry have forced them onto people
Proof: my very own experience. I consume more calories before yet i lost weight and everything else improved drastically.. just by banning all forms of carbs
@M3RedGT Ive been vegan for 5 years. The food pyramid is fucky and always has been. You can get more nutrients from nut milks without the inflamitories. Wether your milk is organic or not, there will always be puss. There is an excess for growth hormones. Those are inflamitories. Many teenagers get acne during puberty because of excess hormones. I get acne from excess hormones (PCOS). Dairy is meant to grow baby cows hundreds or more lbs in a short period. Humans not only do not need to grow that fast as babies, but ESPECIALLY not as adults.
@Tea S Now you’re making sense.
I’m not drinking a bunch of milk. To specific i don’t drink milk at all. I’m using the 3 dairy products i mentioned before but only in relatively small amounts.
I’ve been vegan since 2017 as well but i couldn’t keep my weight down once i lost it because all the carbs.. so i reconsidered and researched for a few weeks and decided to switch to keto
@M3RedGT I went vegan becauae of the animals and my PCOS. I have to eat extremely low carb and low sugar to keep me from becoming diabetic myself, though Ive always been “severely underweight” (despite eating like a cow 😅). I went vegan after doing animal ag, then went into skin care and health, even before my PCOS diagnosis. Having acne as a skin care professional really discredits you to a lot of the people around my area. Turns out, wasnt even my fault lol. Cutting out all dairy has made breakouts extremely rare.
