LSD made me feel like a little kid again like I kept giggling for so long, my cheeks felt inflamed. I was reliving my childhood in the sense that I view people, objections, and situations through the eyes of my child self. Such an amazing nostalgic trip!
Psychedelics saved me from drowning in my own self, in depression, anxiety and a perpetual existential crisis. I will always be in debt to psilocybin, MDMA, LSD and DMT for helping me generate enough resolve to tackle psychological issues and get a grip on my existence. Psychedelics did more for me than any doctor ever could. These are powerful psychedelics and should never be used for the purposes of partying or having fun.
LSD is sooooo fun. BUT DOOOO NOOOOOOT DO IT IF YOU ARE GOING THROUGH HARD TIMES. Just make sure the vibe around you is good.

A 3 gram mushroom trip made me completely quit smoking. It helped me realize how precious my life and body is, and I can no longer imagine harming my lungs again.

In my last trip I transported myself to Japan and I had such an overwhelming feeling.
It’s crazy how psychedelics can take you places beyond your imagination.
I took LSD while suffering from depression, on my first time I felt an orb of energy go from my toes through my body to my head and out into the (what felt like) the universe and since then I have yet to fall back into that place of sadness again and my anxiety has almost disappeared completely, people need to open their minds and more research needs to be done on substances like this

For all the people saying don’t take psychedelics while depressed, that is not completely true. For example, psychedelics have been shown to decrease depression and anxiety in clinical trials of terminal and potentially terminal cancer patients for months. Everyone needs to stop making sweeping generalizations and realize that each individual and their situation need to be examined before the choice can be concluded.
I had depressions and social anxiety. Was in therapy for 2 years with various diffrent pills. Didn‘t help me at all. I was basicly an emotional zombie, just beeing without joy or sadness.
Than I decided to take LSD. I took LSD twice in my life. It cured me. I stopped taking drugs immidiatly. I felt joy, hope and felt love, for the first time in many years. It literally saved my soul and my life.
It disgusts me, that many people get filled up with pills, that only help lessening the pain while there is cure out there that actualy helps.
Yet I do not recommend buying lsd on the streets since you could get some other chemicals that are dangerous. Which angers me even more, since the laws not only prohibate people from curing themselfs, but also putting them into new risks that would not exist if substances simply were controlled by doctors or therapists.
The current drug laws are actualy putting in danger everyone, not only those who are criminals.
LSD and Mushrooms has done more for my depression than any SSRI ever has
I was very depressed for many years, I attempted suicide and was hospitalized about a dozen times, weeks at a time. I did zero drugs/alcohol, but the idea of LSD fascinated me. Finally, I did it, and it was a life-changing experience. I am still occasionally mildly depressed but I see life differently and have never returned to that scary hole I was in or been hospitalized again. I also don’t feel a need to use it again.
My worst trip still taught me a lot and helped me see what’s important.
I ate shrooms and I suffer from PTSD, Depression and Anxiety and I feel much better. I ate shrooms like a month ago and I have had a major rebirth. Shrooms is powerful, extremely emotional, you cry, laugh, and true enlightenment. It is undescribeable. After it was over I felt like a monk.
I’m a mom. I take acid at least 10 times a year and it really help me clarify a lot of things and gives me a reality check. ❤️❤️
I seriously almost died laughing the last time I did psychedelics. It was the best time of my life, I literally could not breathe from laughing so hard! Not sure what’s so wrong with getting out of your head for a few hours with a few close friends in a safe environment. What’s wrong with laughing?! Nothing! And I felt great the next day, like nothing ever happened, I was just unusually happy. Can you say that after a night of drinking? Ugh, hangovers are horrible! I’d 100% take psychedelics over alcohol. 👍🏽
I knew someone who attempted suicide twice, and was on death’s door for about 4 months after her second attempt. Her family moved to Portugal for a while where she took LSD one time (drugs are decriminalized there). She came back to the states and she looked so happy, she actually has a job, she never starved herself, never cut her wrists since the LSD, found a passion in painting and knitting as a hobby. She experiences occasional depression but after 2 years of that treatment she’s still her happy self. I can’t imagine what would’ve happened if she hadn’t gone for that treatment. She would’ve most likely be dead if she hadn’t.
While they are very serious,profoundly powerful drugs that must be respected,sometimes it is healthy to have fun,and psychedelics can teach you how in a way that is helpful even after the trip wears off,if done responsibly.
Mushrooms have honestly helped me realize how important it is that I change as a person and treat others better while taking my own mental health seriously.

@kklazoo It’s different for everyone. For me it was extreme and overwhelming panic, anxiety, stress, and foreboding that never seemed to end and incremented with time. You just ride it out. Once you peak and finally begin to take reign you then have an almost cathartic moment.

Our research site in London is going to look into psychedelics as depression treatment in early 2021 so hopefully that would provide opportunities for people who are seeking new treatment options. We are welcoming UK or London based participants to take part.
As someone who has trauma, a very weird type, I hope that psychedelics can help me heal. I’m already in a MUCH better place than I used to be.

I am on SSRI(Escitalopram) too. Useless, now how I have severe anxiety and insomnia. But unfortunately LSD and shrooms are illegal here.

@28 freespirit it can be dangerous if you act erratically in an unsafe places, which is why it’s good to be around someone you can trust to keep you safe.
Bad trips can also be blessings in disguise. You always learn quite a bit about yourself during them.
