Luke Laffin, MD, Medical Director of Heart Recovery as well as cardiologist in the Area of Preventive Cardiology at Cleveland Facility tells us concerning natural ways to lower high blood pressure. These suggestions will certainly help you remain off drugs or lessen the quantity of drugs you require to take to manage blood pressure.
Very well articulated. Thank you very much.
Thank you Dr, I don’t know how many lives you change or save by your video
At last. A concise, clear presentation of the facts from a medical professional with considerable expertise in this field rather than someone touting natural medicine ‘miracles’. Thank you so much for posting this.
*THANK YOU* Dr. Laffin. I suffer from high blood pressure and have completely changed my lifestyle for the past six years now, which has dramatically helped me lower my blood pressure. I also take lisinopril according to my doctor’s orders. My diet is very similar to the DASH diet. I eat mainly vegetables, lean meats and avoid sodium and processed foods altogether. I wish more doctors would focus on helping their patients through lifestyle changes. Great tips. Thank you!
1. Weight loss
2. Nutritional Diet
3. Low sodium diet AKA Salt
4. Increase Potassium intake
5. Plenty Fruits and Vegetables
6. Moderate Exercise
7. Light resistance exercises
8. No more than 1 alcoholic drink per day
youtube at its best: a calm, rational, well qualified MD giving useful advice. Thank you!
Very Informative Doc! Will lose 10kg and cut down on my sodium by 2mg a day. With Covid 19 the risk factors are much higher with high blood pressure so will begin this right away. Really appreciate your help and time. Be well everyone & thanks again Doc. Regards from London UK
Thank you for the tips, doctor. I have been actively working to lower my blood pressure these past few months, and these measures have helped me lower my SBP by 10mmHg thus far.
Also, I enjoy using the sauna and taking warm baths to open the blood vessels.
A moderate and balanced lifestyle will help you feel healthy and well!

Thank you!!! I am struggling with new diagnosis of high blood pressure and I am only 47 🙁 I am working out more and losing some unwanted pounds and this information has verified I am on the right track! Thank you!
I’m 17 with hypertension I’ve developed hereditarily. I’ve been on medicine for about a year now and I plan to join the Army and it is my dream career to work in the intelligence field for the Army and eventually government agency. But my blood pressure does not allow me to join and fulfil my dreams so If anyone else has any tips to lower blood pressure naturally or whatever has worked for you (I know results vary) it would all be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Edit: I am 5’9″ at 180 pounds. Prior football player and powerlifter so fairly good shape and have switched to focus more on aerobic as heavy lifting raises blood pressure. I also recently changed to a vegan based diet

I’m very active (1200 miles of mountain biking per season and 80+ days of skiing per season) and at a reasonable weight (5’9″ tall and 160 lbs) but still ten toward hypertension. I’m not on medication. I started drinking low sodium V8 (1200 mg of potassium per 12 oz can) and magnesium supplements (just because I probably don’t get enough of either in my diet). That combo has significantly lowered my BP – on the order of -20mm/-10mm.
Excellent overview – highly professional– exercise crucial- Appreciated
@CONSTANCE MORENO so I just listened to his presentation. There are 3 exercises that he says really work and your blood pressure will normalize. I am searching for answers as I’ve taken BP pills for years and still have to worry! So this worked for you? Looking forward to your reply, thank you!
He has a very relaxing voice.
Honestly, just listening to him probably lowers my blood pressure.
@halfrousseau69 This is glorious, I’ve been looking for “best way to lower blood pressure quickly” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across – Handadison Pressure Amalgamation – (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my mate got amazing results with it.
Thanks Dr. Laffin. Very useful information. My blood pressure is always 90-100 high, 60-70 low. Is that also a problem ? If yes, should i increase my blood pressure ? Looking forward to your expertise. Am 5.10 tall, 130 pounds, no smoking, no alcohol ..

Look at all the spam comments!
The processed food is full of salt and sugar!!!😲😱
“I wish more doctors would focus on helping their patients through lifestyle changes”… Yes instead of just being pill dispensers..
My BP went from 157/90 to 120/80 in 2 weeks. Started running everyday, I’m happy as I was about to try to go on cilizapril.
Beets also contain naturally high levels of nitrates, which your digestive system converts into nitric oxide. This compound relaxes and widens blood vessels, which, in turn, lowers blood pressure.
haha ;D me too
Im 32 my blood pressure was around 145 ish over mid 90s and sometimes my readings would creep into the 150s over high 90s… They put me on blood pressure medication( I was not planning on staying on it.) I switched my diet around completely. I eat whole grains, munch on cheerios and almonds as a snack, only eat white meat mainly chicken breast and sometimes some lean porkchops, eat broccoli, take red beet juice, fish oil pills and hawthorne berry pills.. So anywho i took the bloood pressure meds for a month and they did absoleutly nothing… I stopped taking them (spoke to my DR first) started my diet and started running and walking almost every day. Needless to say just took my blood pressure today and it was 114/69.. Which is where its been sitting at. I can take it at anytime and the highest reading ill get is like 131 over like 80 but thats usually midday when i get back from running other than that its like 112 to 117 over 68 to 78… Oh and ive been smoking cigarettes for years and have 2 to 3 drinks a night…. Ohh and my resting heart rate came down from high 70s low 80s to low 60s.
@DaytrapPlays, were you able to find a solution to your problem and did you contact the above guys and how did it turnout.
@sby Bill I was able to lower my blood pressure and now serve. I ate a strict diet and basically stuck with chicken, fish, fresh/raw green veggies, and occasionally peanut butter. I took a men’s one a day multivitamin, and drank a beet, ginger, tumeric, cranberry, and apple juice smoothie every morning. Besides those I ran every day and tried to stay on my feet as much as possible and sleep at least 8-9 hours every night as well as drink alkaline and PH waters (~1 gallon a day). Hope that helps
@DaytrapPlays That’s very helpful. Thanks
Thanks dear
HAHAHAHAHAA!! So True!!
Thank you doctor ! Good presentation. Hope to hear more from you !
Thank you
The calm, clear and relaxing way he speaks reminds me of Dr. Todd Grande, when he talks about emotional and psychological matters. If more health care professionals did this, the world would be a much happier and healthier place 😁
@Michael Ward 190 blood pressure? İs this not near death???
@a b yeah that KFC with the hereditary heart disease will do it man. Last year I was 300 lb and went on the keto diet because my blood pressure was 165 over 110. I lost 70 lbs in a matter of 6 months and got my BP to a consistent 116 over 70. Covid hit and I got a little lazy and put some poundage back on and now my blood pressure is rising again. But I can tell you straight up diet and weight loss will help
@TonydlP650 atleast you know you can change things with a lifestyle change, that’s good news
@a b definitely! ANYBODY CAN DO IT
Im deaf so i need text to understand what the doctor is saying my bp is 176 and i go on holiday on monday will you put it in text for me what im suppose to do to make it come down thankyou for this as its so worrying xx
thank you very much you have to help me
Yes I have heard they have magnesium and there really good
@William Jones why is that hard to believe? Don’t kill peoples hope, I was told I have pre diabetes as a 19 year old so I did Muay Thai everyday and went back 4-6 months later and my blood levels and blood pressure perfectly normal, and I kept eating cereal and pop tarts like a dumb kid would.
And limit stress.
KY
@a b scientific controlled studies shows if you run 20 marathons in your life time it lowers your BP massively
