Neighborhood and Environmental Planning pupils at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) developed this movie to highlight the University'' s brand-new Green Initiative. As component of this effort, UNH has started two major infrastructure tasks to minimize the University'' s carbon impact. The first project, began in 2008 and nearing completion, is the renovation of James Hall to satisfy LEED standards. The second project curently underway, described as Eco-line, is developed to pump and harvest methane gas from a close-by landfill to UNH. The gas will power two turbines which will certainly satisfy the bulk of the campus'' s power needs. This movie, narrated by Lindsey Moore and Craig Hammel, was created as component of a program called Community Development Perspectives with support from Extension Professor, Charlie French.
