The unsolicited advice for any medical condition….🙄 I run too
Thats what happened to me to everyone says theres a cure. Ive been diagnosed for 5 months and 15 days (November 18th) the amount of people who point and stare is ridiculous to me… like ive even seen a parent move their childs head away from looking at my arms! If someone is curious id rather them ask than stare. In my opinion i love being a teacher to the children who dont know and more people including adults and people of power should know more about it
This is my mom I’ve been chronically ill for 7 years Some magic potion from someone online is not going to cure me🤦♀️
I remember you talking about this 😭 like what? I don’t understand people. You’ve been a big help Mary!
Someone told me that if my sibling massaged their feet, they’d be cured.
They’ve had diabetes since they were six months.
omg frrr ive been a diabetic 12 years and everyone says if i eat better it’ll go away like thats the wrong type omg
Got told to give my t1d daughter apple cider vinegar and garlic supplements and she would be cured.
This is why I put it on my stomach
I hear offen that they ask me are you sure you have diabetes? You are not fat/overweight. 😂🙋🏼♀️
dude my aunt once tried to convince me that the reason my pancreas isn’t making insulin is because I haven’t gone to see a massage therapist and I got soo mad trying to explain to her that the reason my pancreas doesn’t make insulin is because my antibody decided to kill all it’s beta cells that makes insulin
I don’t think people understand that there are two types of diabetes and type one is autoimmune 🤦
And they rather stare… you cant control everyone else’s. I can have thoughts and be curious without having to ask questions.
And I would just ask them to explain how that work.
As a T2 I get this all the time!
My own mom tries to tell me cinnamon 😂glad I take care of myself
Apple cider vinegar reduces it but not cures it I had high blood sugar levels in morning around 10 to 12 mmol/L and after vinegar its been 4.2 to 4.5 in morning
Oh who doesn’t love that!! And the ever so helpful ‘you shouldn’t be eating that’
I got told to think it into being…basically manifest but in 1996 language. Still waiting for it to work 😂
@@djdavisiscoolf you don’t ask questions you aren’t truly curiouse
So cool! I was diagnosed November 7th! I get weird looks but it is because of my OmniPod. My Dexcom is always on my belly. ❤
@@ab5722 Do babies ask questions? Diseases don’t make you stupid so I don’t know what you’re excuses.
Tell me about it. Apparently I haven’t *actually* had ADHD for 30 years, I just need to detox.
“oh so u were just an obese 7 year old HAHA” no i was losing so much weight you could see my abs and ribs….

I was told that I deserved my heart problems as I was lazy…
I was 10, so weak and sick that I needed a wheelchair and oxygen to go to school, and was days away from open heart operation #7.

That and “oh so you ate a lot of sugar?” LIKE NO-
@@leobeboop4944 We’re speaking about diabetes that involves sugar though no?
My coworker tried to tell me that i should take turmeric for my severe asthma. It can sometimes help a bit with mild/moderate asthma, definitely not severe. It can also irritant you stomach and mine is already pretty sensitive and im allergic to some spices
I hope they all go smoothly 🙏
Yeah I don’t think most people understand that a T1D literally got diagnosed because of weight loss being one of the major issues

Yes, that’s EXACTLY how one’s pancreas works. Lol

yeah she’ll be cured, cured of constipation…who in the heck thought that was a good idea 😭

I had a coworker who has worked with special needs kids for 20 years tell me that I just need to do grounding and it’ll cure my adhd like ma’am you should know you can’t cure it 🥴
Yeah, I don’t have adhd where my coping mechanisms are designed to limit the stimulation to a controlable level at a time, I’m just lazy lol.
I have this problem as well. Mostly since I am older now 40yrs. When I was a little kid no one told me to eat healthy and exercise and it’d get better lol. It’s frustrating they don’t understand.
@@leahwilson56 I totally agree, sorry you have to deal with that.

I’ve had diabetes for 5 years (August 18th) and I get called out for eating sweets once a while – like isn’t that type 2 instead of type 1?
