Hi Peter, can u plz cover the use of boswellia for body aches and pains in menstruating women. It really helped me for my aching muscles and joints but gave me flooding period. Should I not use it during my period?
For me, I’d love to see some workshops/foraging, walkabout days etc done by Peter. I always enjoy his videos and learning/communicating style so I think it would be great to meet him in person!
Noted! Thanks Rachel
Boswellia is an excellent anti- inflammatory for any kind of pain, especially musculoskeletal, however it is also an emmenagogue, which means it can stimulate menstrual flow.
It is also important to bear in mind that we are all different, and that herbs may act differently for each of us. In this regard we talk about certain “qualities” that herbs may have, and how they act on the body. So Boswellia is considered “hot and dry”, and if you happened to be a bit that way yourself it might aggravate that, causing the excess bleeding.
Obviously this is where more individualized information would be needed. Hope this helps!
Such a gorgeous video!! Lovely to see Peter teaching about the herbs in their natural habitat 😀
What’s the best thing for hot flashes? Thank you so much ❤
Hi Nancy, please see the following answer from Peter Jackson-Main: Vitex agnus castus is a good remedy for this, but it may not suit every constitution. The other herbs I regularly use for this are: Black Cohosh, Dong Quai (Chinese Angelica) and Red Clover flower.
@@collegenatmed Thank you Peter and the wonderful team at CNM ❤️🌸❤️
