One of the reasons I fail in rewiring my brain is simply knowing the fact that what happened had already happened.

My addiction is quite bad to the extent that when i try to stopi become depressed and very anxious (i know it’s normal) but in my case this lasts for months and it’s very hard.
Do you think people like me, shouldn’t maybe go cold turkey, and instead, try to stop gradually until they get used to it, then go cold turkey ?

What if you’re scared to have intercourse for the first time since months or years? I hear ya. That’s the catch 22. If you’re honest with your partner it may be easier to go the healthy route without medication.

The more strategies you begin to implement, the better you feel through the recovery process.
You can try to do that but that becomes very difficult. Try to achieve longer and longer streaks and if you do have a slip make it as short as possible.

Lol back in the day in my 20s was so distraught of my pied I saw a doctor for viagra. In my TWENTIES. They gladly prescribed it with no mention that it could be pied. Wasted over $300. For guys out there struggling, what I did is getting off one step at a time to being aroused.
What I mean, is that I replaced porn by nude photo (more sensual than sexual), then replaced nude by mostly women in underwear (lol) then using my mind to be aroused.
