I know that erectile dysfunction has been recognised for decades, but it’s telling that we first started really hearing about it only after Pfizer came out with the little blue pill (which, as your symptomatic analogy refers to, was originally developed to treat heart problems!) as a potential treatment.
Good point, so many doctors treat individual symptoms rather than the root cause!
