All the keto food I’ve found in stores are not really keto. They still have unhealthy ingredients so I do not buy them.
A long time ago Costco carried big jars of caper berries and they were SO delicious. I got them for my dad and brother and they both mowed through them in no time. It’s oddly fun to eat gigantic capers!
Unhealthy ingredients doesn’t mean not keto friendly
How do companies get away with saying “Keto” on items that contain sugar? Isn’t this misleading consumers?
i love these costco videos, and going to costco lol. be sure to look for ur weekly local costco sales and keep ur receipts up to 30days for groceries, incase something u bought goes on sale, u can get refunded the difference back to ur card. and for appliances for sure keep ur receipts / also stays on mobile app too
Take/away message : more food producers are jumping on the “Keto” diet hype bandwagon but are offering sub-standard borderline acceptable keto ingredients- I’ll call them “K.I.N.O.” – Keto In Name Only… 👀 Buyer Beware
I would rather say it is a way to go “dirty keto” rather than “clean keto”, these are two ways I came across of going keto. You can go just LCHF not bothering other ingredients/additives or go for whole food as it is.
Man your Costco is so much bigger and more amazing than any in my area haha. For keto bread I’m all about Base Culture keto bread from the frozen section of grocery stores, super clean stuff
wish these companies would learn what keto is before labelling their non-keto product as such just to milk the keto train
Since embarking upon this scientific process of understanding how food affects the body I have a new found respect for the concept of not over eating. In fact one of my diet variations is eating whatever you want in small amounts, just enough to satiate and stay satiated. I feel this variation listens to the body’s energy requirements while simultaneously satisfying the spontaneity of the mind with the exception of allergic or harmful ingredients of course.
Great vid Thomas! I’d love to see you do a vid on the potential benefits of HMB and vitamin D3. I’ve been seeing some great muscle preserving effects on this combo in just a few weeks time.
I also bought those oats because of the food chain issue. We will need to be using canned meat, olive, coconut, mct oils, peanut butter, small amounts of glyphosate free oats, canned beans, canned soups and even a bit of rice to ride out the supply shortage.
There’s nothing ketogenic or even healthy about these breads!
The Primal Kitchen mayonnaises are delicious.
Thanks for the deep dive into Costco healthful items. I appreciated you covering vegetables and non typical Keto foods.
That brownie mix is the bomb! bought enough to last me a year haha

Companies misleading consumers — what’s new?
It’s about the $ and that is why it’s important to read
@gina770 It is really hard these days to read a label without one or two ingredients that freak you out. I recently moved to Canada from the US. In the US I would find decent products that I would buy to consume. In Canada am having some difficulty finding the same products as they are filled with sugar, soy, carrageenan, stabilizers, juice concentrates and potassium sorbate. I just have to keep searching harder I guess.
I’m not keto but I’ve watched a few of your videos and I’m going to start trading out alot of the item I usually get for the ones you recommend because they sound alot healthier than some of the name brand regular stuff
Plus, they tend to taste awful. I make my own.
KINO Bahhhdy (body
You’re so educated when it comes to diet wow!!!! Thanks for such a good education on these items, will be going to Costco tomorrow 🙌🏻
Love the chapter and time-stamped format! This video was very helpful in making out my Costco shopping list. Thanks!
Honestly. Thank you so much for this educational video. I appreciate people like you and please don’t stop making videos.
Thank you for reviewing these Keto products for me. Saved me a lot of time looking at each product and googling everything as I walk the aisle 🙂
It can have < 1% sugar like bacon
I have not seen this, but never really looked for bread in the froZen section. Ill check it out, thanks
@Don S definitely good stuff, they have it at many grocery stores. What I wish I could find again at my Costco is Cloud bread, they had it for a short time only 😢
When I see “Keto” on the package, I usually don’t even take the time to look at it any closer. The term has been so corrupted as to make it meaningless.
Since you’ve taught me to read labels I go shopping in the early morning so I have more time to figure out what’s in the foods I buy
