A detox routine is something that I follow at least once a week, and more if Im travelling or have eaten out too much. It's a day of clean eating, skin care, haircare and relaxation. I also try to stay away from social media and work to do a mental detox.
Detox diet consists of simple home cooked meals. Warm and comforting soups, khichadi and fruits and vegetables. I have shown a recipe for khichadi with tomato chutney, a warm vegetable soup and my simple detox water. You can alter the food preferences as per your likes but remember to include lots of fiber, fresh vegetables, fruits and ample water on this day. I would love to do more videos on a week long Indian detox diet if you would like to watch. Do let me know in the comments.
Detox is important for skin and hair as well. I love spending time on myself on such days – its relaxing and helps me take the focus off from work and other things. Mental Detox is also something that one must observe on such a day. Its very difficult for me but I try to stay away from my laptop, work, social media and also spend a fair amount of time alone, walking or in nature. Its the best way to rejuvenate.

I usually have this khichdi nd chutney for lunch on Saturday or Sunday as it’s a one pot meal and healthy and tasty one too..
Sometimes I make khichdi using brown rice and sometimes using hand pounded rice which is equally tasty.

I do have a question..i usually start off my day with a healthy breakfast and fulfilling lunch but i always end up having junk and heavy food at night..is it ok? Or how to avoid or satisfy my cravings
That’s a tricky one..happens to all of us though π try making more dinner of your choice – veggies you like and may be experiment a little with the ingredients…

Dont use sugar on diet insted of sugar u can use jaggary powder honey or steviea… but if y r in diet dont use sugar
