although rosacea you have a beautiful face ☺ ♥
I really can’t believe how much your skin has improved in just that short time! I also never knew about the mites…that is really interesting. I’ve been wanting to try the Cerave PM. I have super sensitive acne prone skin and have such a hard time finding good moisturizers.
😀
Question do you feel like you have a bit of both like some acne or do u only focus on the rosacea thx
Thank you! This is just the sort of insight into rosacea routine that I needed ❤️
I also have this disease and on my opinion duch rubbing od the face harts my skin.Idefinitely recommend applying a cloth to you face and not rubbing it.The mask,on the order hand, is based on clay,it should be sprinkled with thermal water, becouse its stagnation irritates the face.
Thank you so so much for this vídeo! 🙏👏❤ lots of love
I can’t believe I found your channel only now! Have been suffering from rosacea (and pcos as well) for 8 years… Binge-watching all your videos at the moment 😉
Hi there! Wondering if your doctor has ever mentioned Oracea? My doctor recently prescribed that but I have yet to fill it. A bit worried about taking an oral treatment vs something topical which I am more comfortable with. Curious about your thoughts? Great video!❤️
❤️
You are not alone. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Hey! My doctor hasn’t mentioned that one to me. I’ve been pregnant or breastfeeding the past 5 years, so my options are very limited. In the past I’ve used doxycycline and it’s completely cleared my skin. However, as soon as I go off it my rosacea comes back 10x worse. I’m having a lot of luck with Soolantra and I’m hopeful that I keep seeing results. I’ll keep you posted on that one though!
Ah! I’m so glad you’re here! I’ve had PCOS since I was 15 and rosacea officially diagnosed for the past 5 years. It’s definitely a roller coaster dealing with these issues. You’re not alone!
Most welcome 😊 and sending love right back! 💖
Thank you for these tips!
Was so excited to see you recommending Cera Ve moisturizing facial wash since I just bought that for the first time yesterday (prior to seeing this video) and tried it last night! Even after one use of that and their moisturizing cream my face actually already feels better this morning.
I don’t have rosacea, but I struggle with super dry skin in the winter and breaking out on my face (adult acne), which is challenging to deal with because so many products for people with acne dry out your face like crazy which does not work for me at all.
Looking forward to trying some of your other tips as well…so glad I found this channel for the first time this morning after searching for 5am morning routine videos!
I’m so glad! Feel free to message me anytime with questions 💖 I’m not an expert by any means, but always happy to talk skincare stuff!
Hey! I’ve had cystic acne since I was 15 (I’m 33 now) and the rosacea really got bad five years ago. All of the products I use are friendly for BOTH acne and rosacea. 💖
Thank you so much! It’s definitely been a journey and one I’m still on. Definitely check out the CeraVe PM. I only use it after face masks or if my skin feels like it needs some extra moisture. Basically, if my skin doesn’t look like it needs extra moisture then I skip it. Otherwise, it will start to make my skin a little more oily (which upsets my acne). The hydrating cleanser is so gentle that when I only use it my skin feels hydrated enough most times.
Isn’t it magical!? I felt the same after the first time I used it too. I’m so glad you found my channel! I’ve had cystic acne since I was 15 so all the products I mention, even though I focus on rosacea, are also safe for acne issues 🙂
It’s crazy how different triggers can be for those with rosacea. My skin hates all CeraVe and burns and stings and gets red with their products. I like the Vanicream cleanser, neutrogena hydro boost extra dry skin, neutrogena oil free sensitive skin moisturizer, and EltaMD uv clear sunscreen. It is a combination sunscreen but it’s the only sunscreen my skin has liked. For some it’s all about mineral and some all chemical and some like me the combination ones are great. So much trial and error lol. Thank you for having us on your journey and be a positive light ✨
I would definitely recommend Vanicream products. They are free of many irritants and are good for sensitive acne prone or rosacea skin! I really love their gentle facial cleanser, their moisturizing lotion and cream, and their facial moisturizer too!
Thanks for sharing!! I’ve used their moisturizing lotion in the past and have liked it. I prefer the results I see with CeraVe, but like Vanicream products too!
@Janine Colon yes! I’ve used Finacea and The Ordinary’s Azelaic acid solution
@Kristin Moras How did that work out if you don’t mind me asking? I’m just starting finacea now after metro gel didn’t work for me.
@Janine Colon it was too harsh for my skin. I’m using soolantra now and FINALLY feel like I’m getting somewhere. I’ve tried Finacea, metrogel, and Clindamycin with little success. Since adding soolantra I’m actually seeing progress now 🙏
@Kristin Moras Hope you see improvement and are able to feel more comfortable. You’re beautiful no matter what! It seems people either benefit from azelaic acid or soolantra the most depending on their rosacea. It’s such a wild marathon with rosacea lol. Definitely not a sprint.
@Janine Colon I agree 100%
If you ever wanna try a diff cleanser, I have rosacea and oily/acne skin & LOVEEEEE the First Aid Beauty Pure Skin cleanser, I always end up coming back to it. It helps the redness so much and has amazing ingredients for rosacea
I’m so glad I found you. I too have a red nose. I’m in the process of changing my diet. I have a dermatologist appointment soon.
Go to a dermatologist
Struggling with this issue which brought me to you. I have severe redness and like small white pimples. This face wash I seen recommended so I purchased it. It was not good for my skin at all. It burned on my cheeks. I haven’t got to see a dermatologist yet. I started Curology for lil over 6 months and seen a slight difference and then it just stopped working it seemed. But my face was not as red as it had been. Until this past Tuesday I used 2 new items that I had used previously but had been a while. Woke up Wednesday with my face full on triggered. It’s so dry, itchy and bright red. I can’t touch my face as well without it turning bright red so I can’t even wear makeup anymore so I struggle because I can’t even hide it and makes me some uncomfortable in public. I’ve never had acne growing up or dealt with any type of dryness. All of this seemed to start after getting my nexplannon birth control. Hopefully can see a dermatologist one day because now my eyes are starting to get lil places on my top lash line and some swelling and itching as well. Ugh it’s a nightmare 🙁
Hi there, I’m a man who has developed moderate Rosacea plus other skin issues after using Hydrocortisone 1% following my doctors instructions. Coming on for three years now and have made some difficult, but essential changes. Living symptom free often feels unsustainable but it gets easier to follow my ‘workarounds’ after each breakout. Really touched by the testimonies on your webpage, thanks.
