I hope you’re on a good probiotic/acidophilus daily capsule. It helps to prevent yeast and bv . It can be bought at health food stores and Amazon. Make sure it has “Rhamnous”. It keeps the good bacteria in your vagina flourishing so the bad bacteria/yeast have a harder time taking over.
Also if you’re prone to bv or yeast, boric acid capsules vaginally are a great treatment and preventative and don’t cause that increased initial irritation that comes from Monistat and other yeast infection creams.

Thank you for not making this a weird video. Like thank you for being casual about it, because a lot of women have yeast infections &we feel so embarrassed by it. It is normal.
I had H.P infection in my stomach so I was prescribed with LOTS of antibiotics. Three days later, my yeast infection is back because I guess the antibiotics kill good bacteria. At this moment I just insert Monistat 3 and it is BURNING. Hopefully it will go away, this is my second dose. I am watching this video to distract me

I recently had an itching sensation on my vagina and so of course I itched hoping it would go away , but it got worse , about two days later It was burning terribly when I used the restroom and the day after that I noticed bumps on my vagina as well , I’m not sure if I have a yeast infection or a UTI I can’t tell the difference and I don’t know how to treat it without knowing what it is , can you help me
Mago Fausto at first I thought it might be a yeast infection. Sometimes irritation may cause a little burning sensation. However, once you mentioned the bumps, I can’t be sure anymore. I’m not a doctor, I only speak from experience, and I don’t think I’ve ever had strange bumps in that area unless it’s ingrown hairs. It sounds like it can possibly be something else entirely. If I noticed bumps that looked unfamiliar, I would definitely call the doctor right away, insist to have some testing done and have it looked at. I hope it all gets resolved soon!

I would definitely recommend the monistat 3 instead of the 7. The 7 was soooo annoying especially if you had to get outa bed in the middle of the night for anything, it will just all fall out. Not to mention its so annoying using it for 7 days. I just had a yeast infection, I got the monistat 7 but I only used it for like 5 days. Then I realized about a week later that it started coming back, so I got the monistat 3 and it’s sooo much better. Instead of cream, it’s little football shaped thing that you insert and it dissolves over night so it isn’t constantly running out, and you only use it for 3 nights.
This is my 3rd day of having a yeast infection, just yesterday I realized what it is. It itches really bad and whenever I wipe it hurts like HELL. I told my dad I had it right when I found out so I called my aunt since I dont have a mom, and she told be to get a over the counter medication. Wish me luck today🤷🏼♀️😭
Edit: I forgot to update my comment. So i got the medicine and it’s called vagisil and it worked in the working time which is 3 days 🙂

I had my first last May and recurred this July. I tried the monistat 3 and it burned and itch like hell for the first 2 nights. The last application was much more bearable. There was still a bit of itch here and there after 2 days then it went away. The first time I really had no idea why I had it, I thought it was just irritation from a new feminine wash that I was using. So when the itch was super intense I had to use the monistat. This time after what I experienced, I feel a lil traumatized so I’m trying new stuff hopefully it works. Don’t have anything to say about it yet except that it does not burn.
I’m definitely going to eat more yogurt and take probiotics and cut sugar and bread intake coz having yeast infection is awful.

Thanks for the helpful video! I just got over my first yeast infection recently, I went to a doctor and got the pill for it. But I think I’m getting another one, the same itchiness is coming back. I bought Monistat just in case, but I’m worried about how it’s going to be inserting it because I’m not used to tampons or anything either. This was so informative!
I’m so glad it helped! I’m not very used to tampons either and have never used one until after I used Monistat. It might be tricky but being calm and relaxed is really key. I wish you the best and I hope you feel better soon!

@jamar winn Doctor said it was just a super bad yeast infection on top of some hormonal fluctuations from my nexplannon. They have be a double round of antibiotics and I was good!
