Hi mike, I too suffer from this awful SAD and its horrible, you should invest in a SAD lamp that provides the light that we are lacking, also search Dr. Alen Mandell on here, hes good for ALOT of different things 🙂 wishing you and all of us some help, I just starting using the lamp, in fact right now as I type is my first time, I can let you know how it works but I have seen wonderful reviews. can we only take theragran ultra? for SAD on daily basis. It includes:
400iu of Vitamin D
9 mcg of vitamin B12
20 mg of Niacin
You can get sad in the summer as well. I have the summertime sad.
You can get SAD symptoms in summer as well.and yes it changes the chemistry as I feel it coming on in may.and it starts to go away in October. Yes it knocks you flat just as much as winter.

Bro trust me this happens only when we have an emptiness inside our soul. Most of us have spend out time with party movies or with friends so that we cannot think about these questions. but we cannot run from the truth that one day every one has to die and one day this world has came to an end and the day of judgement will come where we all got justice . So man Just Pray from God to save us from sins and give us heaven on the day of judgement . and these light therapy things etc are just temporary things . Peace

I bought 5 htp a month ago and haven’t used it yet. I read that it can cause serotonin syndrome in some people. You need to be careful with it, take low dose, less than 100mg (the recommended dose), to see how it affects your body
Me tooo…and every year,(after Winter’s,effects ) I feel emptier and emptier.
Also, it can only be used for short periods of time…(3minths or so)..as it will start lowering dopamine otherwise.! ,
Sounds too low dose to be effective.
