You shouldn’t say “nasty”, just say fishy. Women go through enough shaming and ridicule of there body and to have to hear it from a doctor just makes it so much worse. Also fluids from a penis (circumcised or not) can cause ph imbalance even if they are healthy. If someone’s partners pH is different it can cause an imbalance.

Help please I have lupus and I have been dealing with both on and off for a year!! I am on a 6 month treatment for the bv and she said I would be getting yeast but now the antibiotics aren’t working…going to the hospital tonight but any tips on what to cut out of my diet and if coffee is doing this to me?
One more thing have you had your Estrogen level checked? 🧐 Lack of estrogen or low estrogen can be a culprit too…. Just wondering if estrogen levels have been explored.

Your playing semantics. It doesn’t smell like shishimi or sushi it usually smells like dead rotten old nasty fish. It what it is. It smells nasty especially if a woman is unclean ain’t with it.

It’s possible to have both. If you visit a urgent care they’ll likely give you meds for both
Yes it can be white as well the main thing is it fishy or smells like garbage likely BV or something else. Go see your PCP they can most likely tell you that day. Good luck!

What if you have both yeast and BV
If you have both you can try the home remedies for 3 days I would go with the Acidophilus/lactobacillus and increase fluids and cranberry if no relief you may need to be medicated so don’t let it linger see your PCP.
I have serious problems with discharge.
Zero itching. Seriously can’t tell. I think it’s BV. But I might have both. Because I do get the white thick pasty discharge. If I eat sugar, I start leaking badly. If I keep my diet clean, then nothing.
Can you have a clay, pasty grey discharge without a smell. Idk if that would be test but with a light grey color?

MUCH MORE THANKS. I HAVE A PROBLEM AND I’M SURE IT’S BV. I am not sexually for four years and I’m 66 years of age. It’s a year since mine comes and goes but not for long. I have slight pain in my lower abdomen whenever I take the pain tablet the discharge stops. Mine smells fishy, watery yet thickish. At times slight blood or very mild in pink color. I get so fed up of it. Sometimes it comes little and maybe in some days much. I used the antibiotic Metro… just one but I’ll go to the pharmacist to continue it. THANK you 😊
