Great video Sis. I feel its also a good idea to use a peri-bottle (sp) when you change your pad/tampon or have a bowel movement or even after you urinate. Its a bottle they give you after you have a baby to help with cleaning “down there”. I’ve been using mine for years. Nothing like running some warm water in that area after changing a pad to make sure your fresh and clean. I also make a whipped shea butter that contains a small amount of tea tree oil & peppermint oil. I keep some in my bathroom and in my purse that i spread on my pad after changing cleansing. It dispels odors and keeps me feeling cool and fresh during my cycle. I also use it for my clients who are incontinent who wear depends and it doubles as skin protection from bedsores.

I wouldn’t want to risk having damp underwear which could harbor bacteria as well. Just be careful to only pat dry. Most toilet paper will leave a lot of debris down there especially the expensive “super soft” brands.

I have a question and this is important. I’m pretty sure I have bv but I’m too scared to ask my mom to take me to the gynecologist. I might try tonight because I’m sick of it. My question is that can you get the bacteria in your mouth to the point you need medication or not?

I would definitely consider seeing your primary care doctor, depending on your age you might be able to ask your doctor if your mother could step out of the room. Tonsil stones are fairly normal with people, so i wouldn’t be worried about it regarding this situation.

The way I seem to get rid of mine is finishing vaginal antibiotics, (mine was 5 days) so on the 7th day I use honeypot boric acid ( I use two for one night for 3-5 days. Also taking oregano pills 2 pills at day time and 2 pills at night time. That’s how I manage to get ride of my BV

What antibiotics did you use? I am using tindinazole but the smell or discharge didn’t get better .

Wow I didn’t know this could be a factor. I was prescribed a high dosage of Vitamin D because mine is so low. Hopefully, as I take it my issues with BV will clear.

@Geetika Sai a course of the metro pill orally cleared it up for me, but it’s back after antibiotics for a uti. I believe if I had followed the antibiotics with boric acid, would’ve prevented this occurrence
