I just turned 60 at 55 I had my T levels checked I was at 85 . I said to my doctor is that low he said you are broken . So I went with injections 1 ml every 2 weeks but it takes about two weeks before you notice any change . My buddy was taking T replacement therapy but not from a doctor he bought the synthetic T from someone and injected himself . I said how do you know when your levels are high enough. His response was when the 80 year old lady behind the counter at the gas stations looks good to you you’ve had enough
Dr Huberman is ubeleivably good at clearly explaining science.
Joe’s face when he realizes he’s been taking ten times the normal TRT dose…
I’m on TRT and HGH peptides. It was all optimized by my doctor. Took 9 months to find that thrive zone for me to have the perfect amount of Free Test, Estrogen and Test. It helped me with my depression, PTSD and Memory issues. I suffered a head injury in Afghanistan and no medication in the world has helped me as much as getting my test levels right.
It’s because he understands it that well

This was an amazing podcast. Thank you Andrew thank you Joe. This had the magical touch that this podcast was originally built on. Amazing source of knowedge.
Andrew provides phenomenal information. You should have him on your show Often
I listened to over 8 minutes of pure, raw knowledge coming from this highly accomplished doctor, Dr Huberman. Only to hear Joe intervene with “Did you know Rams have enormous balls?”.
Incredible.
That man is properly intelligent, with outstanding ability to lay out the talk in layman terms for Joe. Joe is very intelligent, he processes information, on the spot, as he converses back-n-forth.
If you are suffering from low T, as many of us are, be sure to get your “free testosterone” level measured as well as your total number. Mine was 75 and now I’m on 1/2 ml every week and levels are around 500 range…feel a whole lot better.
I love your shows, Joe. Thank you for being a great host.
u think he will see ur comment??
@Saket Chaturvedi you already said what I was gonna say…
I love the Joe Rogan podcast. This guy can talk about a little of everything.
this podcast is definitely a gem of information! he’s basically giving years of research for free!
What he said about effort and heavy lifting being soothing for the brain is so true for me I just experienced this today and crazy hearing this shortly after
😂
Clearly?
I am a pre-menopausal ADHD- 43 year-old woman who is finally in good mental and physical health all thanks to your enlightening podcasts. Thanks for introducing me to I.F., and the Huberman lab Many thanks to your parents for bringing you into this world. I was blind, now I see! Te adoro!
I had what my doctor called a prolactinoma which is a brain tumour on my pituitary gland so I can agree with what is being said here 👌 I’ve had to do TRT for 2-3 years but eventually I didn’t need it…. But you must have an active sex life cos it’s in-built… I’m 54 and keeping active is the best remedy to keeping testosterone up…. Trust me 💪🏼
I could listen to Dr. Andrew Huberman all day long. His podcasts are incredible! I have been using TRT/HRT for years. It has helped me emmensly. I am 61 and continue to LOVE to learn about how to age gracefully and health. Thank you for making it so easy to digest and understand! Keep up the research!!!
@ItsLuckzy lmao you seem very upset
@VEED how lol i just asked a question, you seem very judgemental bro
he loves to misinterpret studies to sell his products lol
When I started on trt my levels were rock bottom, I was way overweight and depressed. After 2 years on trt my numbers were great but still weak overweight and depressed. You have to put in the effort it doesn’t just magically appear. I was expecting everything to magically improve but you have to push yourself to get started and once you put in the effort then the weight starts to drop and your depression begins to lift and you then want to make the effort. You have to get active and exercise
@danielc Yeah.. Yeah…
The special thing with Joe is he add answers the question that exactly comes in your mind and the one you will search after like he knows deeply the topics
you paid for that research with your taxes 😉
@cloon georgy not my taxes though 😀
@Jerome Gonzales those are the best kind of taxes, haha
@Brandon …& smarter than you if he is worth $120m & getting paid a fortune doing good by interviewing people who we would not hear from in mainstream media on controversial topics,
…so if someone else phrased it with a posh accent as “did you know that rams have relatively large testicles” (which is the same thing) they would be more intelligent?
He has positioned himself in business environments to be worth over $120mill, so arguably he has better business smarts than some Uni grads who finished Law, Medicine or even business degrees – to make money but who never will only achieve a tiny fraction of that working long stressful hours away from their families too much.
A lot of great ideas, inventions etc have been created by “high school grads” or less.
You are just being over critical because he just quickly flipped out a very brief, yet correct & interesting comment (because many didn’t realise the correlation) using less refined words. You are just looking for things to pick on by grossly exaggerating the significance
I’ve been on TRT for 3yrs now (I’m 48) taking. 0.5mL weekly. That was after taking a year with my urologist getting my levels just right. I was under 150 T, now I sit at about 700-800. Been an absolute life changer!
Love this guy, he is an amazing down to earth, straight up GENIUS.
You know what else is broken? Your grammar.
….I am glad he mentioned that Rams have enormous balls; I looked it up & found the mating/fighting explanation interesting.
You are trying to derive too much meaning from his momentary choice of words.
He conducts his interviews quite informally like he is having a conversation.
Have you ever said anything “imperfectly” or in a way that someone else might say in a more elegant way; in any conversation, Mr Perfect? …..thought so.
@Kathryn Willette I think its produced at night but im no doctor
@Johnny Kilo they do all my bloodwork and prescribe me what I need to keep me balanced
@Marco Aguirre thanks for the info my friend. Much appreciated. All the best 🤜🏻
@danielchapter70128 You always must see a doctor. Never take advice about TRT or any amounts of stuff from YT comments.
@Johnny Kilo same to you sir. Hope you do great on it
@Alfred Hitchcook hgh doesn’t really do much for muscles unless you’re on it for a long time. It does other stuff though. Hcg does though
@Tango Alpha HCG
😆😍😁
So what can I do ?
@kh 88 TRT..fine if low but statins& BP meds?? Def avoid avoid avoid those last 2😳
@Robert Amaral why accept that we lose testosterone when we don’t have to? It comes to the question of a lion for 30 years or a sheep for 60 years?
@Kyle Hubbard We lose testosterone naturally over time, it’s just the way it is. I managed to elevate my levels naturally through diet and exercise, also cut out alcohol. I’m 50 years old and I feel so much better. Sure I don’t have the levels I had in my 30s or 40s, but I’m doing pretty good for a fella my age. When you start taking TRT, you’re telling your body to stop producing testosterone and that’s scary to me. I understand that there are men that will need this, I just didn’t want to depend on it, that’s all. Plus my doctor at the time, which was probably over 10 years ago, told me that I shouldn’t stay on it for too long. To each their own.
