i was just thinking about doing this actually! especially in the mornings/evenings when the day slows down. i like to pretend i’m living in the 80s or 90s where phones don’t exist, which can romanticize it. also! i have ocd and deal with distressing intrusive thoughts daily. meditation or even simple mindfulness can really help pull ourselves out of the rabbit hole without giving the thoughts too much importance.

Breaking my phone addiction was my main goal for Aug and I’m working on it and you gave me a real motivation to keep going, plus I can’t believe how you always come at the right time and talk about things that I’m also going through it makes me feel that there’s someone with me and I’m not alone even if we don’t know each other💓💓 also I’m so happy for you abt the new life update!!! meditation for a week!!
i’m so glad to finally be back on your channel!!! the last few weeks have been hectic for me and since then you posted three new videos! i can’t wait to watch the two others during the next few days to help me get my life back together even more! this video motivated me trying to drastically reduce my screen time. i don’t think that i’m really addicted to my phone but it’s true that being in holiday since already more than three months, whenever i’m bored i check my phone and can spend hours on it just because i have nothing else to do (i live in a village so there’s not much activity to do ahah and all my friends are busy so in the end it’s just me and me). another big issue for me is that i have a syndrome since i’m a child which is maladive daydreaming and for me to daydream i need to listen to music. it’s something really hard to control and i can just spend hours doing nothing in my room other than creating scenarios in my head while the music is playing. it’s really problematic because it affects my productivity and it also affects my social life because i feel super bad when i cannot daydream. however, by doing this challenge, i know that i can try reducing this syndrome as i try doing other things! i’m only allowed to use my phone to meditate at night as it helps me falling asleep and to use duolingo to work on the languages i’m willing to learn! nevertheless, i can still use my computer to listen to music while doing chores and to watch youtube videos like yours to keep me motivated at trying new things to keep me away of boredom. the thing is that i ran out of books to read so i need to wait for my order to arrive😭
anyway, i’m so proud of you for being able to overcome this addiction! i hope that it will stay this way! i’m also proud of you for starting a new life!!! i truly hope that you will enjoy your new life and that your job will really please you, you deserve it! can’t wait to follow your new adventures!
now it’s time for me to go back at my productive day without a phone! i already vacuumed my room and bathroom as well as repaired my bed and changed the bed sheets, it feels so nice!! now i’m going to clean my bathroom until it shines! have a good day you all and take care of yourself, you deserve it <3

its not such a big deal my dear, you can do it and i hardly suggest you to do, at least try and you’ll see how much you can feel free and much peaceful. actually doing something (reading a book, studying a topic you like, searching a topic that you’ve been always wondering, or if there any languages that you always wanted to learn; taking that small step and learn it, taking care of your body with workouts, yogas, meditations… doing things that you postponed to do) is feeling waaayy more better than just scrolling through your phone. you can do whatever you want! challenge yourself, do it and come back here n tell “u thought i wouldn’t but i DID IT and have a wonderful time” to yourself. <3333
Reading challenge e.g. reading every day for a week or month, depending on what’s more realistic for u 🙂 Or you can get even more specific and challenge yourself to read a certain amount of time each day like 30-60 mins.
