Pomodoro is not effective much.
Sometimes we are very motivating and want to study for a long but due to the rule, we stop at 25 min and take break for 5 min.
It kills your willingness.
Instead try either 45 min study and 5 min break or 50 min study and 10 min break

I do the Rodomopo technique : 25 minutes rest and 5 mins work
Because YouTube is still way better than some Social Media apps if we are subscribed to our personalised channels that we want to see 🙂 and we don’t have to comment or reply to comments if we don’t want to.
The best way to stop addiction is to replace the social media scrolling with some other productive habbit. This way we will be too excited to do the new stuff than mobile.

The pomodoro technique is very useful if you do it properly. In the video it seemed as if he was advising to go waste time on Instagram during the 5min break and actually that’s exactly the opposite you should do when doing pomodoro. You work 25 min and rest for 5min.
The 5 min are to go to the toilet, drink water, have a small meditation maybe or read something.. draw, do some exercises.. lay down for 5 min.. play piano.. whatever you like but don’t Engage on social media or your phone at all as that can completely take your attention and focus off your work and you don’t want that…
So maybe next time try it without involving your phone..
Maybe you can use it to see your gallery, your notes, calendar.. anything but social media. That includes WhatsApp and YouTube as well 🙂
